Chapter 316 A Power Gap Revealed
Finished
Feeling the violent surge of energy inside him, Henry pressed his fingers to his temple and said in a low
voice, “Detonate.”
Boom!
A scorching shockwave tore through the area, rolling out in every direction.
All the zombies were blasted back by the sheer force. In the firelight, dark shapes flew apart, limbs and broken bodies scattering everywhere.
Monica and Ella exchanged a glance, then jumped down at the same time.
Monica drew her triangular bayonet. She moved like a ghost through the orange glow, cutting down targets in quick, precise strikes.
Ella flashed into the stunned crowd of students. Before they could react, she grabbed them one by one and hurled them out of the danger zone.
“Ah!”
Their bodies lifted into the air, and the students screamed in panic. Ivan and the others didn’t stay idle, rushing forward together to catch them and set them down safely.
Paul had only joined them recently, so this was his first time seeing their combat ability up close.
He stood there, completely stunned.
This…this is unreal.
How could a group be this strong?
Since the apocalypse, he had traveled all over and seen all kinds of powerful people. There was no shortage of talent in this world.
But a team like Robin’s, where every single person was this strong, was something he had never seen
(* before.
In his eyes, any one of them could dominate on their own, yet here they were, all following Robin.
A team like this….
I had made the right call staying.
As the swarm of zombies was nearly wiped out in moments, hope lit up in Donald’s group.
Thank God, we’re saved!
They waved frantically, shouting at the top of their lungs. “Here! Over here! There are still people here! This way!”

These people..

Ella hesitated for a second. They were all unfamiliar faces, but since they were on campus, she pulled them out along with the others
The feeling of being lifted through the air was surreal. Watching a man in an ill–fitting black suit with a pockmarked face lunging toward him, Henry’s expression turned to open disgust.
He stepped back without thinking. Everyone else got caught safely, but Donald and his group hit the ground hard.
“Ow! That hurt, that really hurt!”
Donald scrambled up, wincing, his whole body aching like it had fallen apart.
The students hadn’t expected these people to be saved too. They all stepped back, alert, putting distance between them.
“Back off!”

Dane’s expression darkened. Purple lightning flickered in his hand as he blasted a zombie trying to sneak in, leaving it charred inside and out.
The moment Donald saw the crackling purple energy, his eyes lit up.
Everything earlier had been chaos. He hadn’t seen clearly who made the move, only that ice spikes rained down, followed by thunder like a divine strike.
Now seeing Dane use the same ability, he immediately assumed that Dane was the one who saved him.
Ignoring the pain, he rushed over and practically threw himself at him. “Boss, boss! You’re the real deal!”
Dane jumped back. “What are you doing?”
Donald looked like he was about to cry from gratitude. “Boss, you saved my life. I owe you one! Tyrant Base owes you a favor too!”
“Tyrant…Base?”
Lost in his own excitement, Donald didn’t notice the subtle shift in everyone’s expressions.
