Dane had zero interest in wasting time on someone this stupid, so he waved it off. “We’ll deal with it later. Let’s not waste time right now.”
Donald nodded rapidly. “Right, right, you’re absolutely right.”
Then he couldn’t help himself and asked carefully, “Um… Mr. Bone, can I make a small request?”
Dane had run out of patience. “Say it.”

Donald lit up. “This is my first time seeing an armored vehicle in real life. Can I…get on and try it out?”
Vivian blurted, “See? I told you this guy has no shame!”
Donald’s face flushed red.
But this was a once–in–a–lifetime chance, and he didn’t want to miss it.
Seeing Robin frown, Dane snapped back to his senses and immediately refused. “Sorry, we’ve already got just enough room. Don’t think we can add another person. It’s inappropriate.”
“How is it inappropriate?”
Donald forced a smile. “We can squeeze a little. It’ll be fine…”
Dane’s expression darkened, his tone turning sharp./I said what I said.”
With no room for negotiation, Donald backed off, unwilling but wary of his strength. “Alright…
But he hadn’t given up.
That armored vehicle….
Once we get back to Tyrant Base, back on our own turf, I’ll find my chance.
Along the way, Donald’s group drove ahead to lead, while Robin’s group followed in the armored vehicle, looking like a force to be reckoned with.
The students trailed behind.
Just thinking about where they were headed made Yvonne uneasy. Those people don’t play fair. Back at
school, they sounded reasonable, but once we’re on their turf, who knows if they’ll turn on us?”
What Tyrant Base was doing felt like setting a trap and calling it an invitation. There was no way they meant anything good by it.
Sharon comforted her. “Ms. Dean, don’t worry. Robin’s strong. If she’s doing dus, she has a reason

“And…do you remember what she said before?”
Yvonne paused. “She said she was going to wipe out Tyrant Base…”
“Exactly.”
Sharon nodded. “You know how strong Robin is. She wouldn’t say that without confidence. And those idiots at Tyrant Base think Dane’s the real boss, while Robin hasn’t corrected them once. That means she definitely has a plan.
“And we can use this chance to go straight into their base!
“What they did to us before, now that we finally have the chance, we’ll pay it back a hundredfold!”
Tyrant Base wasn’t far, just over 40 minutes from Ravenholt High.
They arrived quickly.
For the students of Ravenholt High, this was their first time seeing Tyrant Base’s headquarters.
It used to be a 20–plus–story office building in the busiest part of Ravenholt. From the outside to the inside, everything about it was high–end and fully equipped.
The surrounding area was just as convenient. From food truck parks to upscale restaurants, everything was within reach.
With that kind of resource advantage from the start, it wasn’t surprising Tyrant Base had grown so quickly.
The building had been heavily reinforced. From the first floor up to the eighth, the entire perimeter was sealed with thick concrete walls, wrapped again in layers of metal sheets and iron fencing, leaving only a single entrance for members to pass through.
It was clearly meant to block out zombies from slipping in through windows or other openings.
The lower levels were locked down like a fortress, with armed guards stationed outside. The defenses were
solid.
When the two armored vehicles rolled up and stopped at the base, they instantly drew everyone’s
