Quinny’s jaw practically shifted to the side. Two of her teeth flew out as she hit the floor, unable to even muster a scream. The onlookers were stunned into silence.

Tammy pulled back, her voice cold and menacing. “Don’t let me ever hear you running your mouth again.”

The lesson was learned; Quinny wouldn’t dare speak ill of anyone behind their back for the rest of her life.

With the final debt settled, Tammy’s rage cooled. She adjusted her dress and cast a glance toward Lucas. It was a look of chilling detachment.

Lucas felt a shiver run down his spine. “You…”

Tammy turned and marched out, her presence so formidable that no one dared block her path. Lucas wanted to chase after her, but seeing that Quinny had lost consciousness, he had to stay behind to manage the fallout and ensure the police wouldn’t actually come for Tammy.

The diners watched the aftermath in shock, stunned by Tammy’s raw power. Some had even recorded the entire spectacle and were already uploading it online. Tammy, of course, neither knew nor cared.

Once outside, she glanced back. When she saw that Lucas hadn’t followed her, her heart sank. A wave of sadness washed over her, quickly followed by a fresh surge of anger.

A familiar, teasing voice came from behind. Tammy turned her head, saw who it was, and immediately turned back around, looking utterly dejected. She ignored him and kept walking.

Norman let out a frustrated laugh. He revved his motorcycle and sped up, cutting her off and coming to a sharp halt directly in front of her.
