Her assistant, Cindy, walked in with a peculiar expression, carrying a large, high–end food container. Tatiana assumed it was her own lunch and said, “Just put it down.”

She had been swamped lately, so she had taken to staying at the office during lunch and having meals delivered. Since joining the company, Cindy had been promoted to assistant due to her diligent and obedient attitude, handling various errands–like her daily lunch.

However, today Cindy looked uneasy as she spoke up. “Boss, this was sent over from Four Corners. They said someone ordered it specifically for you.”

Tatiana paused. Realizing what was happening, she checked her phone and found a message from Jasper.

“Enjoy your meal.”

She smiled softly to herself.

“As far as I know, Four Corners doesn’t serve food that fast.”

It had been less than ten minutes from the time she had offhandedly mentioned “ordering” to the food arriving at her door. Even if the chef’s pans were catching fire from the speed, it shouldn’t have been that fast.

Jasper replied almost instantly.

“I pre–ordered all the signature dishes.”

No wonder the delivery was so miraculous. She couldn’t help but reply.

“That’s a bit extravagant and wasteful.”

“Not a waste at all. Everyone here is thanking you.”

He followed up with a photo. The picture showed Jasper’s top executives gathered in the office, feasting on high–end cuisine from Four Corners.

He had ordered everything on the menu. Once it arrived, he had handpicked the dishes Tatiana liked and gave the rest to his executives in her name. The food at Four Corners was excellent and expensive, requiring a reservation just to get a table. Naturally, no one was complaining about a free gourmet meal.

Tatiana was indeed hungry, and she had been craving a meal from that restaurant. To have exactly what she wanted delivered just as she thought of it was enough to make anyone’s day.

“I also had some sent over to Hubert and Ann.”

While the adults were busy, the two little ones weren’t idle either. Jasper had found a few top- tier instructors for them to undergo secret training. The subjects weren’t standard school curriculum but a full–scale education for a future heir.

Originally, Tatiana hadn’t planned on putting this much pressure on them so soon. She wanted them to have a happy childhood and learn these things later. Even if they chose not to learn at all, she would have made sure they were provided for.

But Jasper’s perspective had changed her mind. She couldn’t judge them by the standards of ordinary children. Hubert and Ann were too bright; if left without proper guidance, children that intelligent could easily lose their way. Forcing them into an “ordinary” life might actually backfire.

Furthermore, as her and Jasper’s business empires continued to expand, the number of people watching them would only grow, making the children more vulnerable. Growing up a little faster and learning how to protect themselves was probably for the best. Most importantly, Hubert and Ann didn’t seem to mind the classes at all.

Tatiana had to admit he was handling things well, and she had no reason to give him the cold shoulder. With that in mind, she took the initiative to message him.

“Are you free tonight?”

The reply came back in seconds. “For you, I’m always free.”

She ignored the cheesy line and sent him the time and location, planning to treat him to dinner as thanks for his help with the children.

She had no idea that on the other end, Jasper had bolted upright from his chair, startling everyone in the office. He took a deep breath. “Cancel all my afternoon appointments. Also, have the styling team come in immediately.”

They understood the first part, but the second part left them baffled. Ever since Jasper had lowered his profile and stopped attending galas, the styling team had been gathering dust. Still, no one dared to ask, and they scrambled to make the arrangements.

In Tatiana’s mind, this was just a normal dinner–a thank–you gesture. But for Jasper, it was monumental. This was the first time she had taken the initiative to ask him out since they decided to start over. He was actually nervous, feeling like a clumsy teenager about to meet his
