He had watched the boss grow up. Even after the boss had been cast aside by the patriarch and sent overseas, James never once doubted his capabilities. He had seen the boss act with ruthless cunning and he had seen him play the part of the dandy, surrounded by beautiful women and acting completely nonchalant. However, he had never seen him show such genuine devotion toward a single woman.
That woman was certainly special. But if utilized correctly, she might be the key to changing the current situation.
“James, there is another group searching for him as well.”
“Who?”
“Their background is significant. It’s proving difficult to trace them.”
“Keep watching them.”
Tatiana and Jasper’s search turned up nothing, though they were forced to sit through several displays of violent boxing matches.
She rubbed her eyes, exhausted.
They really here?
“Perhaps we just missed them today. I’ve sent people to gather more intel. Are you feeling unwell?”
She gave a small nod. The arena was sealed tight with no airflow; the mix. nauseating.
“Let’s get out of here first.” He stood up and guided her out.

Once they were outside in the fresh air, her nausea finally began to subside. She started to worry about Tammy. If they really were involved in underground fighting, could they be in over their heads? Then again, considering the combat skills both Tammy and Norman possessed, they weren’t likely to lose a fight easily.
“Are you all right?”
“Let’s just go back for now.”
“Fine.”

Tatiana was deep in thought and remained silent during the drive, her expression weary. Jasper drove as smoothly as possible to avoid jostling her further. As the car rounded familiar figure caught the corner of her eye. She yelled instinctively, “Stop 1

Jasper pulled over immediately. Tatiana threw the door open and sprinted toward the spot where she had seen the familiar silhouette. Jasper had no choice but to chase after her.
“Tatiana!”
By the time she reached the corner, the figure had vanished. She stood there, her breathing ragged.
“Tatiana! What happened?”
“I think I just saw Tammy.”
“Where?”
“She’s gone…” She bit her lip, unable to hide her disappointment.
Jasper understood her feelings but wasn’t sure how to comfort her. He hesitated before speaking. “I opened a restaurant nearby called Tati Restaurant. Would you like to try it?”
Tatiana glared at him, spitting out a single word: “Juvenile.”
She knew exactly what he was doing. He had acquired a vast amount of property in Bellwood- cafes, shops, and even entire shopping complexes–and had given them all similar names. Whether it was Tati Restaurant or Si Tang, the names were either incredibly tacky or plain. Those he couldn’t name directly, he used her initials for.
The residents of Bellwood might not have met her, but they all kne people had even given her a nickname: the Tati Queen.
She was truly fed up with it!

Jasper coughed twice, looking slightly embarrassed. His expression suggested he knew exactly what he was doing but had no intention of stopping.
Ignoring him, Tatiana said tiredly, “I’m not hungry. Let’s go home.”
“Alright.”
They left together, unaware that the two people she was desperately looking for had just arrived at that very Tati Restaurant.
Tammy stood frozen in place, staring intently at the sign.

“What’s wrong?” Norman asked, thinking she felt ill.
“That word…”
“Which word? Tati Restaurant?”
“Tati…”
Her head began to ache. Fragmented images flashed through her mind.
Who was that? It felt so important. She had to remember. She had to.
“Flowie!”
Norman’s voice broke her train of thought. Her vision blurred, and she couldn’t see clearly in front of her. Only then did she realize she was crying.

Norman was startled by her reaction. He had never seen her cry, let alone like this. He panicked instantly. “What is it? Are you in pain?”
Tammy shook her head, hurriedly wiping away her tears. “No… I just feel like I’ve forgotten someone very important to me.”
The old Tammy had loved Tatiana more than anyone else–it was a bond that surpassed even her love for herself.
Even after they were seated, Tammy couldn’t shake the strange mood. She remained dejected. She was usually so cheerful; he had almost never seen her this down, not even when she had first woken up with no memory of her life.
Norman took in her reaction, feeling a sense of unease. Was the name connected to her past? Was there someone important to her with tha swirled in his mind, and he couldn’t suppress them.

He couldn’t even bring himself to take the ring out of his pocket. The atmosphere today was completely wrong for a proposal.
Indeed, Norman had planned to propose today. He had arranged the shopping trip and the dinner, thinking that once the mood was right, he would ask her to marry him. But after one problem after another, he couldn’t go through with it. The incident at the shopping center had made him realize that he didn’t even have the power to protect his own woman properly.
