Chapter 560 A Fierce Confrontation
Then came the sound of Tammy’s full–throated swearing.
“You absolute piece of work! You dared to drug me? Piss off! You think you can just walk all over me? You think I’m some pushover? Look at that treacherous face of yours. You’ve got more schemes than a honeycomb. You’re useless at everything except passing the buck and stabbing people in the back! I’m telling you, while I can still keep a lid on this temper, you better let me go right now!”
She didn’t even pause for a breath.
It was a very unique way of speaking.
Where did Tammy even learn that?
The words Tatiana had ready died in her throat.
The call was abruptly cut off. A moment later, it rang again.
Tatiana took a deep breath. “You have Tammy.”
“Obviously.”
‘What do you want? To keep her prisoner?”
‘I can’t control her, and you know it.”
Recalling the noise from a moment ago, it sounded like she was about to take the roof off the place.
“Tatiana, I know you’re in a bit of trouble,” Norman said. “Your methods are too soft for this place. You’re no match for them, and neither is Jasper. But I am. The Cole family went from black to white. I know hese circles better than you do. Let me help you once, and you give me another chance.”
‘Tammy was never a bargaining chip. Give her back.”
‘I’m not using her as a chip. We have a misunderstanding, and I want to explain things to her.”
‘Norman!”
‘What happened last night wasn’t a one–time thing. If I hadn’t been there, what do you think would have happened to her?”
Tatiana went silent. For once, she was at a loss for words.
“Tatiana, let me keep Tammy safe for a few days. You handle your business, and I’ll help you. This isn’t a trade; it’s just my request. You’d better not force her into anything, or you’ll be hunting me to the ends of
the earth.”
Tatiana slammed the phone down.
Her face was grim.

Jasper walked over and pulled her into a brief hug. “Once we settle this, we’ll go get Tammy.
Tatiana took a sharp breath. “They’ve officially pissed me off.”
“Then stop holding back.”
The original plan, the indirect strategies and subtle moves was gone.
It was time to go for the throat.
Tatiana turned around, her eyes sharp. “Ann, Hubert, I need a favor.”
The two kids were just as fired up. “You got it!”
Tammy was exhausted from smashing things, her breath coming in ragged gasps.
Hardly anything in the room remained intact. Still, it hadn’t done much to dull her rage. She glared at the man across from her.
“Taven! You’re dead!”
“If that wasn’t enough, keep going. Smash things until you feel better.”
As he spoke, he nodded to his staff. Several cleaners quickly moved in to clear the wreckage and replace every broken item with an identical one, restoring the room to its original state.
“You can continue now.”
Tammy almost laughed in frustration. “You complete idiot!”
“Are you done venting?”
No matter what she called him, Norman didn’t argue. He even had someone bring in water, worried she might be thirsty.
His attitude was perfect. And that only made Tammy angrier. It was like punching a cloud.
“Let me go back.”
“It’s dangerous for you to leave.”
Tammy sneered. “The biggest danger to me is you.”
Norman acted as if he hadn’t heard her. Instead, he turned on the TV, displaying photos of a trashed hotel room with clear bullet holes in the walls.
Tammy went quiet.
“Someone wants you dead.”
“Who?”
