Chapter 215

Third Person’s POV

“What exactly have you learned all these years, eating, drinking, and playing around abroad under the guise of recovering your health? You have absolutely zero skills, and you actually want to inherit the company? As long as your brother is around, you get to keep playing the pampered young miss. Without your brother, you can look forward to ending up homeless on the streets!”

Throwing down those harsh words, Connor didn’t even care about Vivian’s livid, ashen face as he turned and stormed right out of Rolf’s hospital room.

Being thoroughly scolded and belittled by Connor left Vivian entirely consumed by rage.

She cursed under her breath, turned around, and slammed the door furiously as she left, completely uncaring whether the loud crash would disturb her biological Brother, who was still trying to recover in the bed.

Rolf hadn’t been asleep to begin with. Listening to the two of them argue in his room as if he didn’t even exist, he let out a deeply exhausted sigh.

At this rate, am I even going to live long enough to inherit the family business?

After Vivian returned home, she sat on her bed, sulking in pure anger.

Not long after, a servant came upstairs to report: “Miss, there is a man named Johnny Green outside. He says he is a friend of yours and insists on seeing you.”

“Johnny?” Vivian’s brows instantly furrowed, her face twisting with undisguised disgust. “What is he doing here?”

“He didn’t say. He only stated that he would speak with you directly.”

“Who wants to see him? Tell him to get lost!” Vivian waved her hand impatiently. “I’m already annoyed enough.”

“Yes, Miss Davis.”

The servant was just about to turn and leave when Vivian suddenly stopped her. “Forget it. I’ll go down and see what he wants.”

When Vivian walked downstairs, she saw Johnny slouching lazily on the living room sofa. He had his legs crossed and was casually patting the premium leather beneath him, clicking his tongue in admiration. “Wow, as expected of a rich family.”

Vivian shot him a look of pure loathing as she descended the stairs.

Hearing the noise, Johnny turned around. Seeing Vivian, he stood up with a sleazy grin and walked toward her. “Miss Davis, long time no see.”

He reached out to shake her hand, but she dodged it with blatant revulsion.

“What are you doing here?”

Johnny gave a malicious chuckle. His sleazy eyes shamelessly looked Vivian up and down before he finally spoke. “I’m here for the final payment, obviously. My dad took the fall for all the charges, and the security bureau is about to pass the sentence. Miss Davis hasn’t forgotten about paying the rest of the money, right?”

Hearing this, Vivian let out a sharp sneer. “Final payment? You actually have the nerve to come here and ask for the final payment?” She glared at him. “If it weren’t for the fact that you two useless pieces of trash failed to do the job cleanly, Seraphina would have been fired from the healing center ages ago! You idiots almost dragged me down with you! And now you have the face to demand the final payment? You should be grateful I’m not demanding a refund!”

Vivian’s vicious words instantly wiped the sleazy grin right off Johnny’s face. A flash of ruthless, feral hostility-the kind unique to rogue wolves-ignited in his eyes. “Are you saying… you don’t intend to pay?”

“Oh, I’ll pay! Once your dad is executed, I’ll burn the money for him!”

“You dare curse my dad-!” The veins on Johnny’s forehead bulged violently, and the sharp tips of werewolf claws slowly extended from his fingers.

“What? You think you can lay a hand on me inside the Davis estate?”

Vivian raised her voice, stepping/forward arrogantly. “Do you want to go to jail and keep your useless father company?!”

Vivian’s threat forced Johnny to halt his movements, but it completely ignited his fury.

He pointed a finger directly at Vivian’s nose, cursing through gritted teeth, “Just you wait, bitch! I don’t want this damn money anymore!”

“Get the hell out!” Vivian looked completely unbothered. “A useless, bottom-feeding rogue wolf without a pack thinks he can do something to me? Pathetic!”

Johnny was so furious he couldn’t even speak. Leaving behind one last “Just you wait,” he turned and stormed out of the Davis

estate.

Meanwhile, at the Alpha Villa.

“Mortimer, what made you suddenly decide to celebrate your birthday at home this year?”

Hearing that Mortimer was hosting his birthday at the villa, Wilmot and the others were genuinely surprised. In past years, as the Alpha of the Blade pack, he either didn’t celebrate his birthday at all, or he just took a few of his closest friends to the bar for a round of drinks.
