Chapter 219

Third Person’s POV:

Vivian was convinced that once Mortimer saw those photos, his Alpha possessiveness would take over. No matter how guilty he felt toward Seraphina, there was no way he’d tolerate his Luna cheating on him.

He’d give up on her completely!

Filled with anticipation, Vivian opened her contacts, tapped on Mortimer’s profile, and sent him every photo she’d taken.

The next second, a string of failed delivery notifications popped up on her screen, hitting her like a slap in the face.

Her smile froze. Only then did she remember Mortimer had blocked her long ago.

Humiliation washed over her, and her hatred for Seraphina grew even stronger.

Why could one word from Seraphina make Mortimer cut her off so completely?

Refusing to give up, she immediately called him from an unknown number.

The phone rang until it disconnected automatically. He didn’t answer.

Mortimer wasn’t even taking calls from unknown numbers anymore.

Vivian gritted her teeth and stared at the “evidence” she’d worked so hard to collect.

“If he won’t answer me, I’ll find another way,” she thought.

She bundled up every photo of Seraphina and the man smiling over dinner and sent them to Humphrey, Randall, and the rest of Mortimer’s friends.

When Mortimer said the food would spoil, everyone knew it wasn’t true. The hotel’s gourmet meal had been kept warm the whole time. There was no way it had gone bad.

He simply couldn’t bear staying in the living room he’d decorated himself, surrounded by reminders that Seraphina hadn’t shown up for his birthday.

As long as he left, he could keep pretending tonight was nothing more than an ordinary dinner with friends.

Lost in their own thoughts, everyone followed him to the Imperial Prestige Club.

Inside the private dining room, every dish had already been served.

Yet no one dared pick up their fork. Instead, they kept stealing glances at Mortimer.

“Why are you all staring at me? Aren’t you eating? Aren’t you hungry?” His voice sounded perfectly normal. But the darkness lurking in his eyes and the icy aura filling the room made everyone’s scalp prickle.

“Right, right. I’m starving. Come on, let’s eat.” Randall quickly picked up his fork, trying to ease the suffocating atmosphere.

Just then, both his phone and Humphrey’s chimed at the same time.

Their instincts told them something was wrong. The two reached for their phones almost simultaneously.

“Ah!” Randall let out a sudden yelp, startling everyone at the table.

“What the hell’s wrong with you?” Chloe smacked him on the back.

Humphrey stared silently at his screen. A second later, he slowly looked toward Randall.

The moment their eyes met, the unspoken understanding between Pack members said everything. Without a word, they nodded

to each other, locked their phones, and set them face down on the table.

“N-nothing. My favorite actress just got caught in a scandal.” Randall blurted out the first excuse that came to mind.

Chloe shot him a skeptical look. “Since when do you have a favorite actress? Let me see what could make you scream like that.”

She reached for his phone.

“Don’t… don’t look, honey. It’s nothing.” Randall instinctively tried to stop her. One glare from Chloe was enough to make him pull his hand back.

The chat window was still open. The moment Chloe unlocked the phone, she saw the photos Vivian had sent. Every one of them showed Seraphina laughing and chatting with an unfamiliar man.

Some had clearly been taken from carefully chosen angles, making them look far more intimate than they really were.
