Andres became increasingly angry as he thought about it. He drove Marlee back to her place and then went straight to the rented apartment where Kiera lived.

He knocked on the door loudly while shouting, “Keira!”

His eyes blazed with anger.

The neighbor next door, frightened, opened the door slightly and said, “Sir, please stop knocking. The tenant next door hasn’t returned for two days.”

The neighbor didn’t recognize Andres because he was wearing a mask.

The neighbor hurriedly shut the door after saying that, fearing that he was crazy.

Andres was taken aback to hear that.

When he first met her, she lived in this apartment. She had nowhere else to go except here.

Yet she hadn’t come home for two days during her time off.

He suppressed his anger and before he could dial Kiera’s number, his cousin Alondra Finley

called him.

Andres frowned as he answered the call, but before he could speak, Alondra excitedly asked, “Andres, I heard from your assistant that you broke up with Keira. When are you planning to publicly announce your relationship with Marlee?”

Alondra admired Andres very much and also liked Marlee, a gentle woman next door.

Alondra liked them but hated Kiera.

Alondra thought, “Kiera is just a powerless orphan. Apart from being pretty, how could she possibly deserve my cousin, who is a movie star?”

Her words made Andres’s brows furrow even more.”What nonsense are you talking about?

When did I ever date Marlee?”

Alondra was shocked.”No, Andres, what do you mean?”

“You gave Marlee the sandalwood bracelet in front of the entire country. She’ll be ashamed if you aren’t with her.”

Andres was taken aback and asked, “What are you driving at?”

“Don’t you know what that sandalwood bracelet is for?” Alondra paused. “Isn’t that the one you got from Mount Foraker?”

Andres took a deep breath to calm himself down.”You mean I should be with Marlee since I gave her that sandalwood bracelet? But what does Mount Foraker have to do with it?”

“Don’t you really know? Where did you get the bracelet from? It’s said that Mount Foraker is a good place to pray for love, and the sandalwood bracelet is unique to Mount Foraker’s love prayers.”
