Chapter 24
“Andres?” Alondra called out without getting a response.”People know that sandalwood bracelets are used to pray for love. Word of your relationship has spread online since you gave it to Marlee.”
Andres snapped back to his senses and then lost in thought again.
He couldn’t pinpoint his feelings.
But now he understood why Kiera was acting the way she was.
The sandalwood bracelet was intended as a romantic token. She was OK with him not wearing it, but she couldn’t accept that he gave it away.
With this thought in mind, he chuckled lightly.
Kiera’s desire to split up, leave the team, and even go to Everett was his fault.
By doing so, she intended to let him know how much she valued their relationship.
“Andres?”
Andres snapped back.”Focus on things regarding your graduation. Don’t meddle in my affairs.”
He hung up the phone immediately after he finished speaking, and prepared to call Keira.

After leaving Everett’s house, Keira had planned to go home, but she unconsciously drove to the foot of Mount Foraker.
She got out of the car and took a glance at the mountaintop, where the church could be vaguely

She had been here three times.
When she was fostered by the Vaughan family following the death of her parents, she was brought here for her first visit to pray for them.
The second time was for Andres’s good luck and their love.
The third time was when she came to express her gratitude after Andres had recovered from his illness. She also tied a jade pendant to the wishing tree with a unique red scarf of Mount Foraker in honor of their love.
Kiera had walked along the steps with sincere hope during those three visits. But this time, she took a cable car.
It was windy on the mountain. She buttoned up her coat, bypassed the front hall, and went straight to the wishing tree at the back.
It was an old locust tree that had lived for hundreds of years, with lush branches and leaves. It was adorned with red scarves.
She touched the jade pendant that had been hanging there for three years. After all this time, it

still looked crystal clear and bright, and the scarf’s red hue didn’t seem to be fading.
It bore the inscription that read, “May Andres and Kiera be together forever!”
