The moment Vincent saw is standing just inside the front door, his eyes reddened

He strode over and pulled her into a brief hug. A rare crack appeared in Iris’s usually calm expression.

“Brother, what’s wrong?”

Vincent quickly let go of her and cleared his throat as he patted her shoulder.

“It’s nothing.”

As they walked farther inside, Vincent asked casually, “When did you get back?”

“I just got home.” Iris sat down on the sofa before continuing “Damian has already tracked Chloe and Olivia. They were both at the same ocation, right next to our villa. According to the tracker, they’re still moving,”

Vincent looked at her in surprise.

“You’re right.” He gave a helpless smile. “We got tunnel vision. Based on the clues the house staff found and the timeline, we assumed they had already been taken far away. We completely overlooked the area surrounding the villa.”

Iris sat down across from him.

“So you’ve already found something, haven’t you?”

It sounded like a question, but her tone made it clear that she already knew the answer.

Before Vincent could respond, a shrill ringtone interrupted them.

The noise also brought Damian downstairs from the second floor.

Vincent glanced at him before answering the call.

“Hello.”

A distorted voice came through the speaker. “Mr. Noir, I know you have questions. Do you want answers? Then bring Iris to Bridge Hill Manor in two days. Remember, bring Iris. If she isn’t there, the deal is off.”

“Who are you?” Vincent demanded.

The only response was the sound of the call disconnecting.

He immediately tried calling back.

“The number you have dialed is not in service…”

Damian frowned. “They used a voice changer or altered the audio somehow. And the fact that they could make the phone number disappear this quickly means whoever this is has serious resources.”

Vincent’s face darkened. “No matter what, I’m not taking Iris with me. It’s too dangerous.”

Iris thought for a moment before speaking. “This is aimed at me. If I don’t go, we’ll only be dragged into this for longer.”

She looked at Vincent calmly. “Brother Vincent, let me come with you. I’ll be fine.”

With that, she stood up and headed upstairs.

Vincent knew his younger brother well. Normally, Damian was loud, carefree, and impossible to keep still. However, whenever something truly difficult happened, he became exactly like this: silent, focused, and determined to piece everything together.

After a long pause, Vincent sighed.

He didn’t even return to his room to freshen up before hurrying out to make additional arrangements.

Back in her room, Iris called Stella.

“My dear Iris!” Stella answered almost immediately. “You finally remembered me! So, how’s your trip to the United States? Are you having fun?”

Iris thought about everything that had happened over the past few days.

Stella burst into laughter. “Hahaha! By the way, did Connor ever find you?”

“No.” Iris got straight to the point. “Did you finish looking into what I asked you to investigate?”

There was a brief pause.

“I did. Before Olivia disappeared, the last person she met was Chloe. I don’t know exactly what they talked about, but it looked like they reached some sort of agreement.”

Iris briefly explained everything that had happened in the United States before adding, “Keep an eye on the Sutton Family. As for the Noir Family, with Vincent and the others there, Chloe won’t be able to stir up too much trouble.”

“Got it.”

Over the next two days, Damian barely left his room. He spent nearly every waking hour tracking Olivia’s digital footprint.

Eventually, one trail led him to something unexpected: the Stanford Family.

He immediately took the information to Vincent’s room.

He handed Vincent the file.
