Chapter 369 Harsh
Chapter 369 Harsh
Silence fell over both sides of the video call.
Chloe was the only one still inching backward, hoping she could somehow avoid what was coming
Unfortunately for her, she had crossed Damian Noir’s one absolute line.

The stuffed doll she had thrown away wasn’t just any toy. It had been a gift from their mother, who had kept him company with it every day when he was little.
Damian’s voice remained calm..
“Iris, turn the camera toward Chloe.”
Despite his gentle tone, everyone who heard him felt a chill run down their spine..
Damian was genuinely angry.
“Okay, Brother Damian.”
Iris turned the phone toward Chloe.
With no other choice, Chloe forced a few tears into her eyes and tried to look pitiful as she stepped forward.
“Brother Damian…”
Unfortunately, she had forgotten one important thing.
Her second brother wasn’t someone who could be swayed by tears. He was straightforward and sharp-minded, and once he made up his mind, nothing could change it.
“Go pick up the doll and wash it yourself. From now on, don’t touch anything that belongs to Iris.”
He paused before adding, “Otherwise, you can leave the Noir family.”
His words were calm, but they struck Chloe like a bolt of lightning.
This time, her tears were real.
Chloe knew Damian well enough to understand one thing: if he said something like that, he meant it.
Years ago, while Damian was still in school, another student had spread rumors that his hacking achievements were fake and that he had paid multiple instructors to complete his work for him.
Damian rarely lost his temper, but when he did, he became exactly like he was now: cold and terrifyingly calm.
He had confronted the student and given him one chance to publicly retract the accusation.
The boy refused.
Damian simply smiled.

“Fine. Go home and get ready for my challenge.”
Within days, the student’s entire digital life had been turned upside down.

Damian hacked into every account the boy owned, uncovered every embarrassing secret he had tried to hide, and eventually exposed his entire history online
His childhood scandals, every incident of bullying, and every humiliating story he had buried came to light.
The student became infamous overnight.
Only the Noir family knew the full truth behind that incident, which was exactly why Chloe was so frightened now.
The Damian standing before her looked exactly like the one from back then.
Her entire body trembling, Chloe walked toward the trash can.
Fortunately, there was no wet garbage inside. Although the unpleasant smell made her stomach churn, she carefully retrieved the stuffed doll.
Holding it in both hands, she hurried back as though she had narrowly escaped disaster.
“Brother Damian…”
“I picked it up. I’ll wash it and return it to your room.”
Damian answered casually. “I gave it to Iris, so it belongs to her now. How it’s handled is up to Iris.”
He looked at Chloe indifferently. “If she isn’t satisfied, you know what happens next.”
Biting her lip, Chloe turned toward Iris.
Before she could speak, Iris interrupted her.
“Wash it and make sure it’s completely clean. Especially the smell.”
With that, Iris finished organizing her luggage and turned to leave with her phone.
“You were a little harsh on Chloe just now.”
Damian snorted. “That doll has been with me my entire life. I already went easy on her”
He paused.
“If it weren’t for Mom and Dad, I wouldn’t have let her off so easily.”
Behind them, everyone else gradually began looking at Chloe with open disdain. Some even covered their noses as they hurried past her.
One by one, they walked away.
When the last person disappeared from sight, Chloe finally broke down and sobbed.
Outside the airport, Mr. Liam had been waiting for quite some time.

He finally spotted Iris walking out.
Soon, everyone had gathered.
“What took you all so long?” he asked. “Were the baggage lines that crowded?”
“Not really,” one of the students/replied awkwardly. “We were just delayed by… something.”
As he spoke, he secretly glanced at Iris.
Mr. Liam noticed. He sighed inwardly.
‘They’re all good kids… They’ve simply set their hearts on the wrong person.”
