Chapter 60 Miss Rissa
Chapter 60 Miss Rissa
Suddenly, Olivia thought of something.
She immediately pulled out her phone and sent a message.
[Ethan, do you have a VIP card for Lee’s Kitchen?]
Ethan was confused.
[I do. Why?]
Olivia immediately recounted the entire story.
Naturally, she portrayed herself as an innocent young lady being bullied by someone wealthier.
Ethan’s heart instantly softened.

Without hesitation, he sent her the login information for his Gold Membership account.
Meanwhile, a server escorted Iris’s group upstairs toward their private room.
Iris and Ares walked side by side at the front.
“Why do you have so many black cards?”
“Because I own shares in the restaurant.” Ares smiled. “And the head chef will personally prepare and deliver our dishes later.”
The moment she heard that, Iris quietly reached into her bag…
…and put on a face mask.
Because she suddenly realized exactly who the “head chef” was likely to be.
“Iris, why are you wearing a mask? Aren’t we about to eat?”
Vivian was holding the menu when she turned and noticed that Iris’s face was almost completely covered.
She looked puzzled.
“Is the air conditioning too cold?”
Iris was just about to make up an excuse when Ares conveniently supplied one for her.

“Mhm.”
:
Vivian looked back and forth between the two suspiciously.
That explanation…
In the end, however, she chose not to pursue it.
Forget it.

Iris was often strange in ways that couldn’t be explained. Vivian had long since gotten used to
Shrugging, she returned her attention to the menu.
As soon as she opened it, she was stunned by the beautifully plated dishes shown in the photos.
This was supposed to be homestyle cooking?
Unlike ordinary restaurants, there were no prices listed.
Looking through the menu, Vivian suddenly had no idea what to order.

Noticing that she hadn’t spoken for a while, Iris leaned over and flipped through a pages.
Pointing at several dishes, she said,
“This one is good.”
“And this one.”
“Noah will probably like this too. Let’s order it.”
Only after finishing did she notice the look on Vivian’s face.
“I’ve eaten here before.”
Vivian immediately understood. Then she leaned closer and whispered,
“Is it expensive?”
“It’s okay.”
After all, she had never paid when she ate here.
Ares added several more dishes before the waiter collected the menu and refilled everyone’s

tea.
“Mr. Barclay, how did you and Iris meet?” Vivian asked curiously.
“Your niece saved my niece.”
“That’s how we met.”
Vivian nodded.
She assumed Emma had fainted somewhere and happened to be rescued by Iris.
“That sounds like our Iris. She’s always running into sick people on the side of the road and taking them to hospitals.”
“People who don’t know her might think she’s a doctor.”
Ares glanced at Iris.
She remained perfectly calm as she sipped her tea.
The two chatted for a while longer.
The more Vivian observed Ares, the more she liked him.
The young man was handsome, polite, well-mannered, and clearly successful.
Privately, she couldn’t help thinking that if Iris ended up with someone like him, it wouldn’t be a bad match at all.
“Excuse me.”
A knock sounded at the door.
A man in a chef’s uniform entered carrying a bowl of soup.
He carefully set it on the table.
“I’m Gordon, the manager here.”
“This soup is complimentary,”
After placing the dish down, Gordon was about to exchange a few pleasantries with Ares, one of the restaurant’s major shareholders.
Then he noticed the girl sitting beside him.

Why was she wearing a mask while eating?
And…
Why did she look familiar?
“Sir, this young lady is…?” Not daring to assume, he asked cautiously.
“Iris Noir. A friend of mine.”
Only then did Gordon give up his suspicions.
“So she’s your friend.”
“My apologies, Miss Noir. For a moment I mistook you for someone else.”
“You resemble a very important guest who used to visit our restaurant.”
Iris merely nodded. She didn’t say a word.
After Gordon left, Iris stood up as well.
“I’m going to the restroom.”
Even with the air conditioning running, the mask was stuffy and uncomfortable.

After confirming that Gordon had returned to the kitchen, she finally removed it and headed toward the restroom.
The moment Gordon entered the kitchen, he began talking excitedly.
