Eiden’s eyes swept across the guests. He paused slightly when he looked toward those who had been talking trash about Noelle or unfriendly to her before. His voice wasn’t loud, but everyone could hear it clearly. “Ms. Kain has deep ties with our alliance. She is a friend that we value and cherish.”
He paused, then his tone turned sharp. “I’m here to deliver a message from the Alliance. Whatever concerns Ms. Kain, concerns us. From now on, if anyone is stupid enough to try and hurt her, bully her, or plot against her…”
His gaze turned razor–sharp as he slowly finished the sentence. “Then you are an enemy of Alliance 749.”
The words “enemy” hit hard, like a hammer to everyone’s chest.
Everyone felt their hearts skip a beat.
A friend…
Noelle was a highly valued friend of the world’s most powerful organization!
They had thought Angus‘ long–lost granddaughter was just some girl with no power or money. They never imagined she could nake Alliance 749 step forward and back her like this.
Seriously…
This Noelle was not someone to underestimate.
Noelle wasn’t the lucky one for joining the Guzmans. The Guzmans were the lucky ones for having her.
Angus and his three sons finally understood why Alliance 749 had suddenly shown up. It was for Noelle.
Their Noelle actually knew people from Alliance 749!
Angus nodded seriously. “Alliance 749 can rest assured. Now that Noelle is home, we will cherish her and protect her. We will never allow anyone to bully her!”
Eiden nodded and said nothing more.
He turned back to Noelle, looking respectful again, and gave a small bow. “The gifts have been delivered, and the message has been passed on. Ms. Kain, Mr. Angus, Mr. Menzie, Mr. Lucas, we should be going. Goodbye.”
He gave a polite nod to Sebastian and Lucas as well.
Then, he turned on his heel.
The four aides immediately closed the gift cases and followed him in perfect sync
The five of them left the same way they came in, moving with steady, unified steps. Under everyone’s gaze, they walked through
the crowd and toward the door.
Their posture was straight, giving off a quiet but powerful presence.
Only after they disappeared and the door slowly closed did the suffocating pressure in the room finally fade.

But the message was already crystal clear to everyone there–Alliance 749 had Noelle’s back.
Once they were gone, the media finally dared to turn their cameras back on and resume the livestream.

They had cut the feed the second the Alliance appeared–after all, a global organization like that rarely shows up in public, and broadcasting them would have caused a huge stir.
[What happened?! What just happened?! Why did the stream pause?]
[No idea! I just heard ‘74‘ something, and then it went black! Look at the guests‘ faces–they all look shocked. I bet something huge just went down!]
[Ahhh! I’m so curious! This is driving me crazy!]
As the event came to an end, the host stepped onto the stage.
“Thank you for coming today. The homecoming party is over. Please exit in an orderly manner. On your way out, each guest can receive a 1.8–ounce gold bar at the front desk. It’s not much, just a small thank–you gift.”
The event was officially over. Guests started leaving, all with complicated looks on their faces. What happened tonight was huge. It would take a while to process it.
Off to the side, Derek and Belinda looked especially awful, like they’d just swallowed a fly.
Brandon, on the other hand, was beaming.“I can’t believe it! The girl Lucas was hanging out with is the real Guzman heiress and a friend of Alliance 749? That boy did something right for once!”
Belinda nudged her son, signaling him to go say something and smooth things over.
Derek forced himself to smile, picked up a glass of wine, and walked over to Noelle and Angus.
