Once the call connected, Sebastian put it on speaker. "Tell them to get lost. I'm taking my son home."
After a brief silence on the other end, Old Mrs. Blake spoke up. "Enough. Let him go."
With that one sentence, the old woman hung up.
Sebastian looked at the men in front of him. "Did you hear that?"
None of them were deaf; naturally, they had heard it clearly.
Thus, the group uniformly stepped aside to clear a path.
Noah clung to Sebastian's neck, a huge grin on his face. As they passed the row of men, he cast them a look of disdainful mockery.
"I told you, once my dad got here, you wouldn't dare boss me around anymore."
Sebastian didn't feel there was anything wrong with Noah's behavior or words.
However, back when Noah was little and raised by Lillian, he had never spoken like this.
It was only during those two years spent with Bella that he picked up this arrogant tone.
Yet, Sebastian didn't pay it much mind, nor did he find any fault with Noah.
Having successfully retrieved his son, Sebastian didn't linger for a second. He didn't even bother checking where Noah had lived or what his life was like abroad.
He had zero interest in any of it; his only goal was to bring Noah back to the country as quickly as possible to reunite with Lillian.
On the plane, Noah was thrilled, overjoyed to finally be flying back home and free from being forced to study every day.
Sebastian, however, was weighed down by heavy thoughts. From start to finish, he was calculating the best time to bring Noah to see Lillian.
