Lillian swiftly dialed the elder Blakes' private number, calmly explaining the ambush at her gates.
Heavy sighs echoed through the receiver. It was painfully obvious they hadn't anticipated Sebastian moving this fast. To drag the boy off an international flight and immediately haul him to her doorstep without a second of rest... it was sheer madness.
Ever since Sebastian discovered Noah's location the night before, his parents had been bracing for a disaster.
Now that Lillian had called them personally, they had no choice but to intervene.
Hanging up, Lillian glanced out the window. "This isn't the place for a confrontation. People are watching, and I won't be made a public spectacle."
"Shall we reverse back inside?" Ethan asked.
Back into the estate. Back under Mr. Prescott's protective territory.
Leonard probably hadn't even left for the office yet. He likely already knew what was happening at the gates and was probably marching toward the battlefield right now.
Lillian nodded. "Let's head back. Text Emma to let Celia lead this morning's meeting."
Lillian was supposed to chair the supplier selection meeting herself.
But dealing with the Blakes wouldn't derail her schedule entirely.
She could just dial in remotely while Celia managed the floor.
She had already filtered out the top candidates from Celia's massive stack anyway. The meeting was just to finalize the top three factories for on-site inspections.
As Lillian's car smoothly reversed back through the gates, the security detail finally authorized Sebastian's vehicle to follow.
Receiving the nod from the guards, Sebastian immediately ordered his driver to pull through.
After shivering in the car all night, fighting off exhaustion, Sebastian was suddenly buzzing with adrenaline.
He knew it. Using Noah as leverage was a brilliant move.
