Instead of returning to Debbie's room, Sebastian headed straight downstairs to his waiting car. Lester followed closely, briefing him on the medical directives he had just issued.
"Mr. Blake, if you prefer not to keep Ms. Harris in the country, this might be the perfect window," Lester suggested carefully. "Once she's slightly stabilized, we could transfer her abroad for treatment."
Sebastian glanced at Lester. His assistant had grown incredibly sharp, perfectly reading his silent desires. It was a solid plan.
"Send her abroad? It's an excellent idea. But in her current state, she's unfit to travel."
"There's no rush, sir. If you authorize it, I can start laying the groundwork now. By the time the logistics are settled, she should be strong enough."
Sebastian nodded. "Good. Handle it. Also, did The $600 Million Ashford Refund from the Ashford family clear?"
"Yes, sir. It hit the accounts today," Lester confirmed. "Mr. Ashford's memorial service is tomorrow. Old Mr. Blake and his wife will attend. Will you...?"
"I'll go," Sebastian replied smoothly. "Ensure we send a substantial floral tribute. Will the owner of the casino be there to pay his respects?"
"They were the ones who brought Mr. Ashford out of retirement. It's expected they will attend to pay their final respects. Did you have something in mind, Mr. Blake?"
Sebastian's eyes gleamed with a predatory danger. "That debt is erased. But there is another one. Don't forget, we aren't just talking about a couple hundred million. We are talking about $1.2 billion."
"That sum is currently sitting in Ms. Harris's account," Lester quickly added. "Which means... Mr. Blake..."
Seeing the sharp shift in his boss's expression, Lester knew a plan was already in motion.
Sebastian's voice was ice. "Schedule an appointment with the bank manager for ten o'clock tomorrow morning."
