Family on Their Knees Heart Turned to Ice novel Chapter 1516

"Mr. Blake, are we not going in?" Lester Ross asked.

"She's not dead. What's the point in going in?" Sebastian replied.

Whether it was Debbie or Bella, he was perfectly happy to watch them destroy each other.

If it weren't for Bella, Debbie would never have come to Northwyn, and half of these problems wouldn't exist.

But then again, if it weren't for Debbie, he wouldn't have seen Bella's true colors so quickly.

It was fortunate that Debbie had crashed the wedding. He had been humiliated, yes, but at least the truth had come out early.

Now that these two were at each other's throats, Sebastian couldn't be more pleased.

He had rushed over here afraid they wouldn't actually fight, ready to fan the flames himself.

He never expected to arrive at the door just in time to see Bella trying to squeeze the life out of his mother.

He had cracked the door open, and neither of them had noticed him. It was a thoroughly entertaining spectacle.

It was a bit of a shame Bella hadn't finished the job.

If she had actually killed her, it would have saved him an enormous amount of trouble.

With Debbie dead at Bella's hands, he could have sent Bella straight to prison. Two birds with one stone.

Lester opened the car door for him, waiting for Sebastian to slide in before taking the passenger seat.

"Mr. Blake, are we heading home or...?"

"Halfridge Villas," Sebastian said.

Lester paused. "This late? Ms. Mercer is probably already asleep."

"Ethan Hayes will come out to see me."

It didn't matter if Lillian was asleep; Ethan was just as useful.

By now, he had figured out Ethan's temperament, so he was perfectly willing to exploit him.

Lester stayed quiet and simply instructed the driver to head to Halfridge Villas.

Ethan indeed hadn't gone to bed yet. Upon receiving the message, he trudged outside with a face full of reluctance.
