Since Martin agreed, no one else dared to object. Only Colin lowered his voice to speak to Brandon. "Brother, do you think Lillian will watch the live stream?"
Brandon wasn't entirely sure if she would watch, but he knew one thing for a fact: she definitely wouldn't enjoy watching it.
Lillionix.
Lillian was staring at the live stream on the large monitor, completely unaware of the debate that had happened at the courthouse regarding the broadcast.
By the time the news broke, the court had already finalized the setup and announced it to the public.
Lillian, whom Brandon assumed wouldn't care to watch, suddenly let out a soft sound of disapproval. "Ugh, why is the video quality so terrible? Victor, can you fix this?"
"It's watchable, isn't it?" Victor replied. "It's fine, no big deal. I don't feel like messing with it."
"What do you know?" Lillian scoffed. "In a little while, the expressions on the 'guests' faces are going to be infinitely more entertaining than the trial itself. Hurry up and figure it out. Make it HD—actually, 4K is best. I'm telling you, you do not want to miss the looks on our lead actor and actress's faces later."
Ethan enthusiastically agreed. "Exactly! We need peak resolution for a live stream like this. Isn't this kind of stuff a piece of cake for you? Work your magic and get it done."
Victor frowned. He'd have to find a converter and tinker with the hardware. The real issue was that the monitor itself wasn't built for ultra-high definition.
Just as Victor was grumbling about the hassle, a knock echoed from the office door.
Keeping her eyes on the screen, Lillian called out, "Come in."
The door swung open, the person holding it stepped aside, and Leonard walked in with a bright smile.
He was trailed by two men.
"I heard the trial was being live-streamed today. I figured you guys would be watching, so I came to join the party."
With a subtle nod from Leonard, the two men sprang into action. One immediately set out an array of snacks and fresh fruit.
The other swiftly swapped out the office monitor for a state-of-the-art, ultra-high-resolution screen.
Victor beamed. "Mr. Prescott, you're a lifesaver. How did you know we desperately needed this?"
