Emilia gasped for air, and seeing his crazed expression, sorrow welled up inside her.
He was the one who had insisted on the divorce.
But now, he was also the one holding her down, refusing to let her go.
"Tell me! Where did he touch you!" Tyler screamed, looking like he was about to devour her.
Emilia didn't know how to answer.
Did she really have to tell him what happened between her and Theodore?
Why should she?
They had nothing to do with each other anymore.
But her silence only enraged Tyler further.
"You slept together?" he said. Emilia couldn't bear to look at him anymore. All she wanted was to get up and leave.
But clearly, that wasn't an option.
In fact, Tyler only became more unhinged.
"Here?" His finger brushed over her lips. "I saw you two kiss."
His voice was filled with anguish.
Emilia tried to pull away from his touch, but he wouldn't let her.
His fingers traced down her neck to her collarbone.
"And here?" he asked, his voice choked with pain.
"Tyler, stop!" Emilia suddenly realized what he was doing. A terrible premonition filled her, and panic seized her heart.
But all she got in return was Tyler's agonized laugh.
His hand moved lower, reaching the collar of her shirt. "And here?"
"Don't touch me!" Emilia cried, twisting her body desperately to avoid his touch, trying to free her hands to push him away.
But the next moment, he pinned her bound hands down again.
In the next instant, Tyler forced her legs apart and threw his weight on top of her, pinning her kicking legs with his body.
"Answer me," he demanded, his eyes bloodshot.
"Let me go!" Emilia cried out.
Tyler let out a pained laugh. "So he did touch you."
His hand continued its descent, moving from her chest, past her waist, and was about to lift her skirt.
"No!" Emilia screamed, her body trembling.
"Don't do this, Tyler..." Tears streamed down her face.
"No?" He laughed in agony, then leaned down and kissed her again. "Emilia, don't you remember? When we were together, you loved this."
Tears streamed from the corners of Emilia's eyes.
She was sobbing uncontrollably. "That was before, Tyler. Don't do this to me..."
