Her body trembled with fear, and she looked utterly pitiful as she sobbed hysterically.
"Before?" Tyler laughed softly. "So, you're saying he can, but I... can't?"
"No, you—" Before Emilia could finish, he crushed his mouth against hers again.
At the same time, she felt a cold draft below.
Emilia bit down on his lip with all her strength, her legs kicking frantically until—
Thud!
Her ankle slammed against the bed frame, and a sharp pain shot through her.
Tyler heard the sound but only paused for a moment, looking down at her.
"Don't..." Emilia was crying too hard to speak clearly, her entire body shaking violently.
The feeling of powerlessness terrified her.
Tyler's crazed state terrified her.
"Tyler... don't force me..." she sobbed, gasping for air. "I don't want to..."
Tyler's hand moved from her waist to her face, wiping away her tears.
But they wouldn't stop falling.
He just stared at her, unmoving for a long time.
Just as Emilia began to hope he would let her go, he bent down and pressed his lips to her neck.
"No!" Emilia screamed until her throat was raw.
But he continued his descent.
"I haven't slept with him!" Emilia cried out.
"Let me go..."
"Tyler, please, let me go..."
"Don't do this to me..."
She kept crying, her voice growing hoarse, her throat catching in ragged coughs.
But he just buried his face in her chest, and he even bit the small mole there.
"Ah!"
Emilia's screams were unending.
She was still screaming, not recognizing him.
"Emilia, it's me, Theodore," he soothed, his eyes red with rage and grief. "I'm here."
The knot Tyler had tied was tight. Before he could undo it, Tyler was back on his feet, stumbling over and aiming a kick at Theodore.
Theodore's eyes blazed. He stood, pulled the comforter over Emilia's disheveled form, then strode toward Tyler, grabbing him by the neck and punching him relentlessly.
"How could you..."
Theodore's fists landed again and again, on his face, his body, unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks.
"How could you do this to her!"
At first, Tyler tried to fight back, but soon all he could do was laugh.
A wild, insane laughter.
Theodore's fists kept falling, leaving Tyler's face bruised and swollen, blood dripping from his nose and mouth.
But Tyler just kept laughing manically.
"She's mine," he said.
