Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 527

“Stay back! Don’t come near me! Go away!” Emilia was still screaming.

“Emilia, it’s me, Tyler. You…”

“Didn’t you hear her? She told you to get back!” the female bodyguard said, blocking his path.

Tyler’s brow furrowed. He waved his hand, signaling his men to come forward and restrain the woman.

But she was exceptionally skilled, and for a moment, Tyler’s men couldn’t get near her.

Tyler’s eyes narrowed dangerously as he studied the bodyguard.

So Theodore had placed someone this capable by Emilia’s side.

“I won’t let you near her,” the bodyguard declared.

“Heh…” Tyler responded with a cold sneer.

So what if she could hold them off for a little while?

Tyler waved his hand again.

The bodyguard was good, but she was outnumbered. With her occupied, Tyler limped worriedly toward Emilia.

“Don’t come any closer!” Emilia kept shrinking back into the corner.

“Emilia, let me see what’s wrong,” Tyler said, concerned, his gait uneven.

“Go away!” Emilia’s back was against the wall, her entire body shaking violently. The memories of what happened kept replaying in her mind, and she felt like she could explode at any second.

Tyler reached out his hand.

“Emilia…”

“If you want her to die, then go ahead and touch her!” At that moment, a cold, sharp voice came from behind Tyler.

Tyler’s brow tightened. He turned to see Theodore kicking his men aside and striding toward them with his own people.

Him again!

Hatred surged through Tyler.

“Theodore!”

But before he could finish, Theodore lunged forward and kicked him.

The blow sent Tyler, with his injured leg, stumbling to the side, while Theodore rushed to Emilia’s side.

“Emilia, don’t be afraid. I’m here,” Theodore said, helping her up.

Emilia looked at Theodore, her heart still pounding with panic.

“Don’t worry. This isn’t like last time,” Theodore’s confident voice calmed her slightly.
