Glenn Manor was packed that evening.
Almost everyone in their circle who had free time had shown up.
No one bothered checking the toxic chatter online anymore.
They all knew that the second Vivienne's actual medical reports dropped, the truth would burn everything else to the ground.
Bella was practically glowing with happiness, thrilled by a house full of people and laughter.
She and George Glenn hit it off immediately.
The two of them were huddled in the corner, deep in discussion about how to teach the chubby Ragdoll cat a new trick.
They scrolled through endless pet influencer videos—some showed cats doing synchronized dances, while others featured massive running wheels that actually generated electricity to light up a bulb.
They were completely mesmerized.
Listening to their excited chatter, Emilia couldn't help but smile.
Even the fluffy Ragdoll seemed interested, popping its head up beside them.
"Meow~"
The cat rubbed its head against Emilia's hand.
She scooped up the massive furball and scratched it under the chin.
The feline let out a loud, rumbling purr, sounding like a tiny revving engine.
Emilia glanced over at the kitchen.
She had offered to help prep the meal earlier, but Felix had promptly kicked her out.
Now, he was working alongside the manor's private chef to handle dinner.
"Is this too much work for him?" Emilia asked Joyce.
After all, the man was usually wielding surgical scalpels, not frying pans.
His hands were insured for millions.
Joyce was busy dangling a toy for the cat.
She laughed and shook her head. "He's fine," she said, quickly changing the subject. "Theodore mentioned there's a koi pond out in the courtyard?"
"Yeah," Emilia replied, slightly thrown off by the sudden shift in topic. "They're absolutely massive. I don't even want to know what Theodore feeds them."
She gave the heavy cat in her arms a gentle squeeze. "Same goes for this guy."
"Meow!" The cat protested loudly, as if offended by the insult.
"Alright, alright. Coco isn't fat," Emilia cooed, smoothing its fur.
Joyce burst out laughing.
She immediately dragged Emilia outside to see the fish.
