Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 610

"I told you I could compensate you for that day in other ways," Tyler snarled.

"Compensate me how?!" she yelled. "I want to be with you, Tyler!"

"Not just for six months! I want us to get married, have kids, and grow old together!"

"I want forever! I want us to be together for the rest of our lives!"

Her brazen demands echoed off the hospital walls.

"Heh..."

A low, dark chuckle escaped Tyler's lips.

He stared at her.

So this was the real Vivienne.

A creature of pure greed, manipulation, and boundless entitlement.

Fool.

He had been such an unbelievable fool.

"If it weren't for the fact that you took Emilia's place that day," he rasped, every word laced with lethal frost, "I would kill you right now."

"You can't do that!" she gasped.

"I absolutely can," Tyler said.

If it came down to it, they could just go to hell together.

Without Emilia, what was even the point of the rest of his life?

"Let me go, Tyler! Let me go!" Terrified by the deadness in his eyes, she panicked. "Remember what you owe me! You have to pay me back! If you don't, I'll go straight to her and make her pay for it!"

But he said nothing.

He just stared at her.

It was as if he wanted to burn this vile version of her into his memory forever.

He pulled out his phone and dialed Israel.

The man walked in immediately.

"Boss," Israel said.

Tyler pointed at the woman on the bed. "Show her what happens to people who lie to me."

Israel understood instantly.

"No! Don't!" she shrieked.

She wanted to scream out the rest of her threats.

But she stopped herself, knowing it would completely expose what really happened a year ago.

His mind immediately flashed back to Emilia, covered in blood as they rushed her down the corridor on a stretcher.

What had she been thinking then?

Had she stared up at these same blinding lights, feeling just as empty?

Heh...

A bitter, devastating smile crossed his lips.

Right next to him was a stairwell door.

Inside, it was pitch black, illuminated only by the faint green glow of the exit sign.

It looked menacing.

Like a massive beast with its jaws wide open, waiting to swallow him whole.

Tyler stared at the door, reached out, pushed it open, and stepped inside.

Allowing the darkness to consume him.

He stopped on the landing.

Gazing down the pitch-black, empty stairwell, the tragic scene from the Alden General Hospital flashed before his eyes once more.

Back then, everything had been a blur of absolute chaos.
