Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 679

While Emilia was still trying to piece the puzzle together, the car glided to a stop.

"We've arrived, ma'am," the driver announced as a valet rushed over to open the door.

"Come on," Xenia stepped out first, immediately taking Emilia's hand as she emerged.

They walked into the high-end establishment together.

It was a luxurious three-story building complete with private pools and exclusive lounges. It was less of a simple spa and more of an ultra-exclusive private club.

It was obvious that the clientele here were exclusively the social elite.

The moment they stepped through the glass doors, the staff rushed to greet them.

"Mrs. Glenn," the head receptionist smiled brightly, then paused slightly when she noticed Emilia.

"This is my future daughter-in-law, Emilia," Xenia announced clearly.

The receptionist quickly recovered, her smile widening. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Dennis."

Emilia offered a polite nod.

"I brought Emilia in for a facial," Xenia said.

The spa manager, having been alerted to their arrival, practically sprinted over.

"Mrs. Glenn, Miss Dennis," the manager beamed. "I was just wondering where you went and when you'd be back. I had no idea you left to pick up Miss Dennis."

Xenia simply nodded, not bothering with small talk. Keeping a firm grip on Emilia's hand, she marched straight toward the VIP wing.

Emilia had no idea what Xenia was planning, so she just let herself be led along, shooting the manager a questioning look.

The manager blinked rapidly at her, as if trying to signal an incoming disaster.

But Emilia didn't know her and couldn't decode the frantic eye movements.

They walked deep into the corridor until they reached a fork. "Take me to my usual room," Xenia ordered.

The manager froze in panic.
