Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 756

"Mr. Glenn is completely out of his mind. If he likes her that much, he should just keep her at home looking pretty. Why let her play corporate roulette?"

"Exactly. The boss is way too blinded by love."

"I wonder how he's going to spin this disaster."

"It doesn't matter how he spins it. She's officially the laughingstock of the city."

...

At that moment, the secretary pushed the heavy oak doors open, and Theodore Glenn strode in.

The whispers died instantly.

Theodore took his seat, his demeanor as cool and commanding as ever. "Let's begin."

The executives nervously went through their reports.

As the meeting drew to a close.

"Is there anything else?" Theodore asked.

An older, gray-haired executive cleared his throat. "Mr. Glenn, there is one more matter. It pertains to... Emilia."

The entire room stiffened, leaning in.

"Go on," Theodore said smoothly.

"I assume you're aware of Emilia's investment in Aegis Dynamics?" the executive hedged.

"I am," Theodore replied.

The executive took a deep breath. "She has created a catastrophic mess. How do you plan to handle this? Are you going to bail her out?"

Theodore didn't answer immediately. He simply raised his eyes, locking onto the man.

Emboldened by the silence, the executive pushed forward. "We have always maintained that she is an unsuitable match for you, sir. But you insisted."

"Even if you are determined to marry her, we accepted it. But how can you let her run wild like this?"
