Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 757

"Second, Emilia doesn't need me to clean up her messes. You severely underestimate the woman I am going to marry."

"And finally," Theodore said, his predatory gaze sweeping across the boardroom, "my relationship with Emilia was settled a long time ago. This topic is permanently closed. Never bring it up again."

He stood up, buttoning his suit jacket. "Meeting adjourned."

Theodore swept out of the room.

The board members collectively exhaled, wiping sweat from their brows.

"Well, at least The Glenn Group's capital is safe. We dodged a bullet."

"Thank God for that."

"Do you really think she has a chance of succeeding?"

"Succeeding? Look at the sheer scale of the disaster! Hahaha."

The executives chuckled, shaking their heads in agreement.

Back in his office, Theodore felt nothing but sheer exhaustion dealing with those dinosaurs.

He had been with Emilia the entire previous night, strategizing and analyzing every facet of the Aegis project.

Emilia had activated her extensive overseas network, digging up the real story behind Aegis Dynamics.

She found out exactly why the lead engineer had left and arranged an intense, private negotiation with him.

Aegis's current robotics tech was already groundbreaking. They were on the verge of shattering a major industry bottleneck, but progress had halted because Elias's mother was dying.

Theodore pinched the bridge of his nose.

Elias and his mother were currently on a flight to Solmaris. Once the life-saving surgery was complete, Elias would return, smash through the technical barrier, and send Aegis's valuation into the stratosphere.

But there was absolutely no reason to reveal that to the public right now.

While Emilia had been in the trenches at the Aegis headquarters, Theodore had stayed behind to manage operations at Inceptus.

He had watched the entire saga unfold.

He knew exactly how Chloe and Frederick had conspired to back Emilia into a corner.

Thinking of her resilience, a deep swell of pride warmed Theodore's chest.

*His Emily was incredible.*
