I’ve got stuff to handle, so I’m out,Jared said, then spun around and slammed the door shur. His wolf was preoccupied with the packs challenges, he had no energy for Emily. The pack’s stability hung in the balance, filling him with anxiety.

His scent was sharp with worry,

The den door slammed shut.

The sound echoed the turmoil in Emily’s wolf.

Emily stood there, her face as dark as a moonless night, eyes locked on the closed door, burning with anger and frustration. Her wolf snarled, a low growl rumbling in her chest.

A passing servant caught the scene and gasped in shock.

Blood gushed out, staining her fur a crimson red. She didn’t bandage it, letting the blood dr onto the pristine furs and soft eartha shocking sight. She deliberately spread the blood to make it look like she’d lost a lot. Afterward, she collapsed weakly onto the bed.

Andrew hadn’t received the organized scrolls from Emily. If it were me, I would’ve delivered them already. He decided to check on her hir At Emily’s den entrance, Andrew knocked; but there was no answer. He pushed it open and froze. Andrew scooped her up, rushing out, yelling, Butler! Get the wolfcart! Quickly!

Jared rushed out, seeing Emily, pale and bleeding, and was shocked. He drove the wolfcart to the front of the den; Andrew carefully pl Emily in the back.

They rushed her to the healer. After treatment, she was out of danger.

The healer, weary, said, She lost a lot of blood; we’ve given her a blood transfusion; the wound is bandaged; she’s out of danger, butAndrew and Jared breathed a sigh of relief, but the healer’s next words hit like a hammer.
