Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 327

Chapter327.

My wolf, a snarling, wounded beast inside me, watched helplessly as that Cullinan, a sleek, black Alpha’s chariot, disappeared into the Silvermoon Pack territory’s bustling crossroads. He’d fallen, several scrapes marring his fur, but it didn’t matter.

The physical pain was nothing compared to the agonizing ache in my heart.

I hadn’t even let him finish. How much did I despise them? He knelt there, his wolf utterly defeated, too broken to rise.

Mason and Emily, two powerful Alphas of our pack, emerged then, their eyes instantly settling on Jared’s slumped form.

Fury flared in Mason; his brows drew together in a fierce line as he rushed to his side. He glanced at Jared’s injured leg and the direction the car had vanished, his face grim.

Jared! Look at you!Mason’s voice was a low growl, laced with fury but more with a disappointment that stung worse.

For someone who claims to not care about you, you’ve reduced yourself to this; you’ve shamed the Miller family!

Emily followed quickly.

Seeing Jared’s dazed expression, a wave of satisfaction washed over mywolf.

*Good, he fell. Serves him right!* But before Mason, she played the part of a concerned sister, showing urgency.

Jared! Are you alright? Your legShe knelt, feigning concern, a flicker of cruel glee in her eyes.

Jared remained oblivious, staring blankly at the spot where the vehicle had vanished.

His gaze was empty. Mason’s frustration boiled over.

*My wolf urges me to abandon him, to stop caring!* But seeing the bleeding leg, he suppressed his anger. What are you doing?! Get up! Get your wound tended to!Mason roughly hauled Jared to his feet. Emily’s voice, a honeyed counterpoint to Mason’s harshness, cut through the air

Jared, be careful; don’t touch the wound.

Her wolf thought: The more he hurts, the better! Maybe then he’ll realize he needs to come back to us!

In the Pack Healer’s den, a healer cleaned Jared’s wound. The stinging herbs burned against the broken skin. Yet, Jared seemed numb, a lifeless husk, allowing the healer’s ministrations without a sound. My wolf ached with empathy, but a colder part of me felt a hollow satisfaction.

He deserved this pain, this emptiness.
