Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 36

Chapter 36

The arena buzzed with excitement; the stands were packed.

I held the token Grayson had given me, sitting beside Lucy.

We were positioned remarkably close to Jared’s pack’s area.

Lucy frowned.

This is too close.

The view was excellent, but just two rows ahead was Jared’s pack’s staging area, less than five meters away.

My wolf sensed the tension, its fur bristling slightly.

Yeah, my brother has a twisted sense of humor,I thought of Grayson, a smirk playing on my lips.

Grayson was cold, aloof, and a master strategist; everyone respected him.

But he had a strange fascination with my brothers.

Lucy chuckled softly.

Emily stood in the contestant prep area.

While others prepared, she scanned the audience.

Her eyes fell on me, and a knowing smile spread across her face.

She leaned close to Jared, whispering, Jared, look, Isabella still cares about us; she came all the way to watch the

match.

Her scent a mix of anticipation and subtle triumph was almost suffocating.

Jared glanced up, his gaze sweeping the crowd until it landed on me.

He snorted, his eyes

disdainful.

If she wants to curry favor and return to the Miller pack, it’s impossible.

His wolf’s growl was a low rumble, barely audible but intensely menacing.

Caleb, also present, frowned at Jared’s words.

Sibling rivalries were one thing, but this was crossing a line.

Emily felt relief wash over her, her smile widening.

As long as she performed well, her position within the Miller pack would be secure.

The Miller brothers needed her as their one and only sister!

Her scent was now overly confident, laced with triumph.

Lucy, despite her knowledge of finance, was far from an expert on drone technology. Once she saw the opponentsinferior skills, she began to panic.

If Emily wins, she’ll be even more arrogant.

Her worry was evident in her anxious scent.

I remained calm.

They won’t win.

My wolf sensed the flaws in Emily’s preparations.

I was here to watch their downfall.

I smiled faintly.

I’d noticed the unchecked equipment Emily had overlooked in my past life.

She was engrossed in conversation with Jared, completely ignoring her equipment.

I spoke softly to Lucy, our voices barely audible above the crowd’s roar.

However, a nearby supporter of Jared’s pack overheard.

She was about to confront me was I a rival, sabotaging their chances? My wolf prepared to defend itself.
