Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 399

Chapter399.

After finalizing our filming plan with Lucy, I brought Grace, my beta, along, the three of us heading towards the Silvermoon Pack territory bordering the Shadow Ridge Pack. Our destination was the secluded Whisperwind Glade near the Whispering Peaks.

Due to pack duties, the threeday shoot was tightly scheduled. I brought Grace to immerse her in work, helping her forget the betrayal and pain inflicted by Noah, a powerful Alpha from the Obsidian Fang Pack.

Grace’s spirits were low, her eyes still carrying a hint of sadness, but she didn’t wallow in selfpity.

Her wolf, usually vibrant and playful, was subdued but not broken.

She was resilient and grateful for the opportunity. She silently took on the role of assistant, helping with luggage and equipment.

My own wolf felt a protective warmth towards her.

As we were about to collect our packs and travel to Whisperwind Glade, a large group of werewolves approached. Leading them was the impeccably dressed Emily, a powerful Alpha female, surrounded by assistants, creating a starstudded effect. Noah, his arrogant wolf practically radiating arrogance, followed closely behind her. Without Grace, Noah fawned over Emily shamelesslycarrying her pack, holding her water skin, offering her sips.

Emily spotted me, her gaze briefly lingering on the slightly weary Grace. A flicker of smugness crossed her eyes, her wolf’s scent of triumph sharp in the air, lips curling with a mix of pity and provocation.

She signaled Noah with a look.

His wolf practically vibrated with anticipation.

Noah, unable to contain himself, shoved his pack and waterskin to the assistant behind him. As we neared, he blocked Grace, who was lugging heavy packs. His gaze swept mockingly over her luggage and weary face.

His wolf’s snarl was almost palpable.

Hey, isn’t this Grace, the aspiring singer? What? Carrying your own packs? Aren’t you a rising star?He sneered, full of superiority.I’m here to film a howlvideo; Star Pack provided a dedicated team and several assistants.

Grace tightened her grip on her packs, a surge of anger quickly subsiding.

Her wolf whimpered, the memory of betrayal sharp. She felt betrayed but realized that escaping this relationship was fortunate. She glanced at me walking away, lifted her packs, ready to follow.

My wolf felt a surge of protectiveness.

Noah blocked her path, See? Regretting it now? If you’d signed with Star Pack, you wouldn’t be so pathetic.

Grace considered whether the three of us could defeat this group. What if this delayed our schedule?

Her wolf assessed the situation, calculating strength and risk.

I noticed her hesitation, turned back, my eyes coldly scanning Noah. My wolf’s icy glare was unmistakable; it sent a chill down his spine. That look was calm but dripping with contempt, like staring at a stray wolf not even worth a proper fight.

I didn’t speak to Noah. I turned to Grace, my voice cold yet commanding.

Grace, let’s go. Don’t let trash soil your eyes and delay our schedule.

The word trashhit Noah and Emily like a physical blow. Emily’s smug smile froze. My wolf roared silently within me, a triumphant howl against her arrogance. Emily’s wolf shrank back.

I was calling her trash?

Grace understood. No fear, just push forward! Her wolf straightened, shedding its earlier dejection. She straightened her back, walked past Noah, bumping into him. He yelped as her pack scraped his hand. Watching her walk away resolutely, Noah’s plan to show off failed, replaced by humiliation.

His wolf whined, defeated.

His face darkened, fists clenched.

Emily stood there, watching us leave, feeling like she’d bitten into bitter bark. Frustrated, she glared at Noah, venting her anger.

Her wolf snarled at his impotence.

You couldn’t even stop one shewolf, you’re useless!

II was worried a conflict would affect our filming.Noah mumbled, his wolf cowering under her fury.

Emily snorted, clicking her heels and leaving. He breathed a sigh of relief.

At the academy, he’d heard that Emily was kind and easygoing. Since signing with Star Pack, he finally realized how much she was acting; she

was actually difficult to work with.

This wolf finally admitted her dominance.

I wasn’t surprised to encounter Emily here; in my past life, Emily had become famous through her howlvideos; her first video was filmed near the Silvermoon Pack’s territory.

So I had prepared a surprise for her.

Emily, her team, and Noah arrived at the Moonpetal Weaving Den. The workshop was located in a quiet area, exuding an artistic atmosphere.

The manager smiled professionally, Sorry, Miss Carter. We’re currently working on a large order and can’t accommodate your team for filming

Emily’s smile froze. How could this happen? Her wolf sensed foul play.

She removed her sunglasses, There must be a mistake. We’re from Star Media; we have a reservation! She emphasized Star Media, attempting to use Alexander’s pack’s name to pressure them.

The manager remained polite but firm.

Miss Carter, you only made a verbal reservation, no blood bond. And she didn’t know Star Media.

Noah stepped forward, wanting to help Emily. Remembering me at the meeting place, Emily pushed him away, raising the stakes, I’ll pay double, no, triple! Just let us use the space for two days. She sensed my involvement and was even more determined not to lose.

Her wolf was enraged.

The manager shook her head, Sorry, Miss Carter, it’s not about moonstones. We value our reputation; we’ve already promised the space to another dient.

Emily was angry that moonstones didn’t work. Her wolf howled in frustration.

Noah asked, Who is this person who dares to compete with Star Media?

The manager didn’t hide the information, remembering that if anyone asked, to say that it was a Mr. Smith.

Smith? Emily’s face darkened. It was me!

Her wolf recognized my scent, the scent of my cunning.

What should we do?Noah, knowing the Smiths were more powerful than the Millers, was intimidated. His wolf trembled.

Emily glared at him, Let’s go to the next location!

Her wolf was seething with barely controlled rage.
