Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 491

Chapter 491

I could almost see it in my mind, the vision flickering through the packlink: Grayson, driven by a desperate Alpha urgency, cutting off a transporter and ripping open the reinforced door.

My heart would have plummeted, my wolf whining in distress, knowing that inside was only Julia. Susanthat traitorous shewolfwas nowhere to e found.

could almost hear Julia’s voice, laced with a venomous taunt, her pheromones spiking with malice. Surprised? Or not really?

pictured her, perfectly madeup with scentblockers, a smug, triumphant smile twisting her red lips. My wolf bristled at the image of her.

And her words, dripping with the kind of false charm I’d come to expect from a roguehearted highranker: Brother, it’s really hard to find you. You’ve been hiding your scent, making me search every territory!

is she spoke, she suddenly flung her arms open, rushing forward to throw herself at Grayson, seeking a claim she didn’t deserve.

I missed you so much, big brother.

irayson reached out, his hand hitting her with a brutal Alpha force that shoved her away, his wolf snarling just beneath his skin.

The force of his shove sent Julia reeling backward, crashing hard into the metal side of the transporter. Her head slammed against the door with a ickening thud, yet she didn’t even flinch. Instead, she just threw her head back and laughed, a chilling, lupine sound that scraped against my nerves.

ler voice, though, was sharp, devoid of any real amusement. You can’t blame me for tracking you down like this, she spat, her eyes glinting with a eral light. Honestly, if I hadn’t gone this route, I have no idea how else I’d ever get to see the Great Alpha.

chilling, almost sick obsession gleamed in her eyesthe scent of a packbond turned into a cage.

Brother, you’re still so cold. Can’t you be even a little gentle with me, like you are with Isabella? After all, I’m your real bloodsister.

he pushed herself up, her eyes burning with a desperate, almost manic intensity as she stared at Grayson, her inner wolf pacing restlessly.

Brother, if you don’t start being a little bit gentler with me, I won’t guarantee what I’ll do next, okay? I’ve prepared a very special gift for Isabella. The ght of her entire family, perfectly reunited, will be streamed live on the Howlnet for everyone to see, very, very soon.

ler smile widened, becoming sickeningly radiant, laced with a cruel, malicious glee that made my stomach churn and my wolf bared her teeth in a silent

arl.

Tell me,she purred, her gaze flickering to the mental image of mine, a dark satisfaction blooming on her face, if Isabella saw Gavin, Susan, Andrew, nd Emily a reunited family of four do you think she’d be sad enough to cry?

coldness crept into Grayson’s eyes, darkening them by the minute until they were like the void between the stars.

lis gaze was a bottomless, icy abyss, brewing a storm that threatened to obliterate everything in his path. My wolf sensed his rage from miles away

rough our bond.

hen he moved.

le moved so fast he was just a blur, leaving only an afterimage of predatory grace.

alia’s smile, still stretched taut and malicious, froze solid on her face. Before I could even blink, Grayson’s hand was around her throat, a brutal uffocating grip that cut off her whimpers.

Grayson pinned her against the cold wall with one hand, his impossibly handsome face now etched with pure, deadly Alpha intent.

Julia.

fis voice was low, yet it cut like silver ice.

Did it ever occur to you that I might be here to kill you?

de slowly tightened his fingers, watching her face flush crimson from lack of air, no hint of mercy in his gaze. His wolf was at the surface naw, teeth

ared.

How can you not understand this yet? If you provoke me, I might tolerate you for Grandma’s sake, even spare your life. But you touched someone you houldn’t haveyou touched my fatedmate!

lia’s face turned a mottled purple. She beat against Grayson’s arm with all her might, but his hand, like an iron vice, didn’t budge.

he fear of death finally stripped the smugness from her eyes, leaving only stark terror.

ou think you could hurt Isabella?

chilling scoff escaped Grayson’s thin lips. Hah! Naive!

s if on cue, a sudden, urgent Howllink notification shattered the dead silence of the night.

he alert blared from Julia’s pocket, persistent and demanding.

rayson’s eyes flickered. The hand clasped around her throat loosened just enough for her to gasp for air.

e tilted his head, motioning to her with a lethal calmness.

nswer it.

lia coughed violently, greedily sucking in the cold air. Her hands trembling, she fumbled for her packlink device in her pocket.

er eyes darted to the caller ID, a flicker of panic crossing her face, but she pressed the answer button anyway, putting it on speaker.

he moment the call connected, a frantic, tearchoked male voice erupted from the speaker.

ulia! Help me! Gavin’s men are here for me!

was Gavin’s voice, raw and desperate.

Where’s Susan? Susan’s with you, isn’t she?! Use her to trade for me! Hurry!

is desperate shouts echoed through the vast, empty packden.

dia’s face drained of all color, turning stark white in an instant.

that moment, I understood. Her carefully laid plan, the leverage she thought she held over Grayson, had just been revealed as a cruel, monumental

s Grayson listened to the desperate plea coming from the link, I watched a slow, cold, utterly cruel smile spread across his face.

le released Julia’s neck. My breath caught as he slowly, deliberately, pulled out a handkerchief and meticulously wiped his fingers, as if her touch had ft him soiled by a rogue’s filth.

le looked at Julia’s distraught face, and his voice, though not loud, cut through the receiver with chilling clarity.

She’s right.

On the other end of the line, Gavin’s breath hitched.

watched Grayson’s gaze settle on Julia, and my stomach clenched. His eyes were utterly devoid of life, as if he were looking at something already dead nd discarded by the pack.

Only taking Susan isn’t enough, Grayson said, his voice chilling me to the hone. A family should be whole, perfectly in order, according to the Old

aw.

He hung up the link with a casual flick of his wrist, then tossed it to a subordinate Beta standing behind him. The gesture felt to dismissive, so cold.

He spared Julia a single glance, crumpled on the ground, utterly drained of color. His eyes held no trace of warmth, just an ivy void that made my blond

run cold.

It was as if he was looking at a piece of garbage, discarded and meaningless to the pack lineage.

Let’s go, he stated.

He uttered those two words, flat and devoid of emotion, then turned his back on the scene, heading towards the ominous black Pick Tramparter Two burly Alpha enforcers in black suits stepped forward, seizing Julia. They hoisted her up dragging her like a deal weight, and unceremoniously shoved her into the back seat of a different vehicle. The brutality made me flinch through our shared link

Grayson’s transporter eventually pulled back up to the abandoned packden. I watched as Julia was roughly shoved out, stumbling to the ground.

A grating creeeaaak pierced the silence of the night.

The den’s heavy iron gate slowly groaned open, emitting a screeching sound that made my teeth ache.

A putrid stench immediately assaulted mea rotting cocktail of wet fur, rust, mildew, and dust that clogged my throat.

Then, Julia was brutally shoved inside, vanishing into the gloom.

Meru

The vast den space stretched before me, illuminated only by a single, sickly yellow tungsten bulb. Its weak glow barely cut through the gloom, carving ut just a small, desolate circle of light in the center.

My gaze snagged on that anemic circle, where several figures were huddled together, almost indistinguishable in the gloom. Their forms were hunched, mall, radiating a palpable sense of fear that smelled of sour sweat.

A sickening wave of recognition washed over me. It was Gavin. Susan. Andrew. And Emily. My heart hammered against my ribs, each name a fresh

tab of dread.

Then Grayson entered, his Alpha presence immediately dominating the desolate space. His polished leather boots clicked with sharp, deliberate recision against the bare concrete, the sound echoing through the cavernous room. Each click was a hammer blow against my nerves.

Each one was a deliberate, cruel drumbeat, meant to grind into the very hearts of the Miller wolves, and it felt like it was crushing mine right along with

heirs.

Gavin had already learned from Susan that I knew the truth.

Now that Grayson was here, I could see the raw terror in his eyes. He was terrified of my revenge and the judgment of the Alpha.

The moment Julia was shoved in, looking utterly humiliated, I watched the last desperate flicker of hope vanish from Gavin’s eyes.

This was it. It was over. Completely and utterly over for them.

Their last hope, Miller, was now a captive too. They were truly finished.

Grayson’s gaze swept over the four of them, finally settling on Andrew’s face.

I’m giving you a chance.

Grayson pointed at Julia. Destroy her, and I’ll let you all go.

The air in the room solidified, heavy and suffocating. My wolf whined at the darkness of the command.

Andrew’s eyes went wide, and I could practically feel his heart hammering from where I stood.

The horrifying implication of Grayson’s words hung in the air, sickeningly clear. He meant for Andrew to take Julia? To force a Blood Bond?

Even from where I stood, I could practically feel the sheer revulsion radiating off Andrew. He clearly didn’t want to do it, and honestly, who could slame himJulia was a walking nightmare, a spoiled brat with an infamous temper, and frankly, she’d been completely off the rails lately

What, not interested? Grayson let out a soft, mocking laugh, ratcheting up the pressure with his Alpha aura She’s the Smith family’s eldest daughres Enter a Blood Bond with her, and even if you don’t inherit the entire Smith pack empire, this absolute deluge of wealth. are you honestly going to piss that up?

The Smith pack’s immense fortune! I could almost taste the rot beneath Grayson’s sweet promises.

That single thought, like a rapidly growing vine, seemned to instantly enanare Andrew,

His breathing grew heavy, and his gaze, when it landed on Julia, twisted in something preslatory

The fear and revulsion in his eyes faded, replaced by a muddy gleam a sickening mix of great and raw desire,

He was completely hooked.

Julia saw the shift in his gaze, too. An unprecedented terror seized her, chitching at her throat

She clawed her way towards Grayson, stumbling and scrambling, her voice a wretched shriek

Brother! Grayson! You can’t do this to me! I’m your bloodsister!

An icy mask settled over Grayson’s face.

And Julia, of all people, had to be the one to rub salt into my already raw wounds.

A sharp, humorless sound escaped him, a silent, chilling declaration that he wouldn’t be blamed. A profound dread settled deep within me.

My gaze was fixed on him as he turned his back and strode out of the den.

The heavy iron door slammed shut behind him with a deafening clang.

t hit me then. He’d deliberately left Gavin, Susan, and Emily behind, all to make sure Julia got an even harsher lesson.

ven with Gavin, Susan, and Emily right there, Andrew didn’t hesitate to make his move.

Ment

Moments later, Julia’s earsplitting screams ripped through the silence from inside. Don’t you dare come any closer! Andrew! Don’t you touch me, do ou hear me?!she shrieked. My wolf turned away, feeling the cold weight of the Alpha’s justice.
