Chapter 558
Grayson’s callused thumb traced my delicate skin. The pressure wasn’t heavy, but it carried an undeniable, potent Alpha perwer that made my internal wolf, Luna, whimper in a mix of submission and arousal.
My heart skipped a beat
The Grayson in front of me was a be–wolf I’d never seen before
Dangerous, dominant, and utterly aggressive.
He was like a wild animal, pushed past his breaking point, his patience completely shredded. All that remained was a raw, primal hunger for abalure control over his territory–and his mate
I… My mouth opened, a desperate explanation already forming.
What? Grayson cut me off, leaning in so his handsome face loomed inches from mine.
His warm breath ghosted over my face, carrying a dangerous edge of pine and smoke. His wolf was right beneath the surface, his eyes flashing a redatory gold.
Didn’t you promise to wait for me? Hmm”
le didn’t wait for my answer, just forged on
His voice was dangerously low now, every word ground out through clenched teeth, vibrating through my very bones.
I was thinking, what would have happened to you if I’d been a minute later.”
I was thinking, if those pieces of rogue–trash had laid a single finger on you… how I would rip them limb from limb, grind them into dust, just to begin to sate the fury inside me.‘
I was also thinking…
His voice trailed off.
His deep eyes churned with a complex, agonizing storm of emotions I couldn’t begin to decipher. I could feel the Blood Bond between us thrumming vith his agitation.
I’ve been wondering if I made a mistake, spoiling you so much that you’ve become this reckless, this utterly oblivious to consequences.”
His last words landed like a crushing blow, right to my Blood–Core.
saw the raw, unmistakable dread and fury simmering in his eyes, and my own heart felt like it was being squeezed tight by an invisible Alpha–command.
I’m sorry…
lowered my gaze, my long lashes, like soft brushes, veiling the emotions in my eyes. Luna tucked her tail in my mind, sensing the depth of his gemaine
Jain.
t was the first time I had ever uttered those three words to him with such raw sincerity.
Instead, my apology was met with Grayson’s cold scoff.
‘Sorry?”
The hand gripping my chin tightened, his claws slightly pricking my skin.
Isabella, do you think an apology is enough?
His gaze slowly slid down to my lips, which were pressed together tightly from nerves. They were the color of ripe cherries, glossy and tempting, radiating my pheromones of distress and attraction.
I watched Grayson’s Adam’s apple bob uncontrollably.
The rage in his eyes slowly morphed into something else–a deeper, darker kind of fire. His wolf was no longer just angry; he was hungry.
“You like to play games, don’t you?”

His voice grew even hoarser, laced with a lethal, intoxicating allure.
Today, I play with you. And we won’t stop until you’ve had enough.”
The words were barely out of his mouth when he lowered his head and kissed me–hard.
There wasn’t a trace of tenderness in it.
His kiss was a raw, bruising punishment, seething with anger and a fierce Alpha possessiveness that took my breath away.
He was domineering, relentless, giving me no chance to breathe, no room for my wolf to fight back.
My mind reeled, slammed blank like it had been hit by a heavy object. All coherent thought instantly vanished.
I couldn’t form a single thought, couldn’t hear a thing beyond the blood roaring in my ears and the frantic howling of our bonded spirits.
All I registered was the raw, bruising press of his lips–hard and scorching hot–grinding against mine, radiating a naked, unyielding fury.
The air was thick with his pheromones, cold and sharp, an unreasonable, possessive dominance.

The air was being squeezed from my lungs, little by little, until I was gasping, desperate for a breath. My hands instinctively pushed against his solid chest, straining with every ounce of my she–wolf strength to shove him away.
But my meager strength was nothing against his Alpha power, like pushing against a solid mountain wall.
He didn’t even have to try. Grayson easily caught my flailing wrists, using just one hand to pin them above my head, pressing them firmly against the
door of our den.
The position left me utterly helpless, completely unable to move.
I was like a butterfly pinned down, utterly at his mercy, forced to passively endure the storm he unleashed.
He wasn’t kissing me.
It felt more like a punishment, a branding, a primal declaration of his ownership over me. I felt his canines graze my bottom lip, a silent threat of a marking bite.
I don’t know how long it lasted. Time blurred until my vision started to blacken, before Grayson finally eased his hold, just a fraction.
My whole body went slack. I sagged against the door, gasping for air, my chest heaving violently.
My cheeks burned, alarmingly hot, and the corners of my eyes were wet. Even my gaze was hazy, blurred by a film of unshed tears.
My lips, red and swollen from his assault, felt tender and looked utterly pathetic.
Grayson stared at me, at my frantic struggle, and some of the fire in his eyes finally receded. But the dark, heavy thing simmering beneath it–the primal Alpha hunger–only intensified.
He extended his thumb, the pad rough against my skin, and traced the damp corner of my lips.
His voice was raw. “Know you’re sorry?”
His made my

skin prickle, my mind still reeling, but my head nodded before I even realized what I was doing.
‘Where did you go wrong?” he asked again.
‘I shouldn’t… shouldn’t have run off alone…” My voice came out light and soft, a little hoarse from crying
‘And?‘ he prompted.
‘I shouldn’t… shouldn’t have disobeyed…”
I saw something ease in Grayson’s eyes as he watched me, my docile apologies seeming to finally appease the fire in his wolf.
But deep down, I knew this wouldn’t just be brushed aside.
His head dipped again, and his lips were on mine once more.
But this time, the brutal, all–consuming hunger from before was absent.
His movements softened, growing gentler, but the force that brooked no refusal was still undeniably there.

He parted my lips, his tongue seeking entry. It was meant to soothe. I thought, but it tangled with mine, demanding, insistent, pulling me into his fhythm
Trabella… “The mumbled again my mouth his jaw clenching rightly controlled. Not time you dare put yourself in danger.
His kiss trailed from the corner of my mouch down my jawlize settling softly on my slender neck, right over my pulse point, leaving a faint, almost invisible mark of his claim
My punishment won’t be as simple as just a kiss.”
I lifted my slender arms, wrapping them around his neck, slowly pulling myself up closer to him, letting our scents mingle until I was saturated in him.
Until our ears were pressed together, I hummed softly.
Mm–hmm.
My soft hum seemed to ignite something in Grayson I watched his eyes darken, his gaze turning scorching.
Don’t be mad anymore, please?”
Grayson’s thin lips pressed into a tight line.
Seeing he was still upset, I couldn’t help but pout.
When he saw my defiant pout, Grayson’s Alpha attitude softened.
Good,
But the word had barely left his lips before I was swept into his arms, pulled tight against his chest.
And his lips were on mine again.
The scorching heat of Grayson’s touch still lingered on my skin.
A possessiveness so potent it was almost punitive, a fierce, unyielding claim, wrapped around me like an invisible silver net.
raised a hand, my fingertips lightly brushing my lips, still slightly swollen and tender.
Numb, and a little sore.
Grayson, that mad Alpha.
Yet, despite everything, I felt no anger, only a faint, almost imperceptible smile blooming within me, one I didn’t even realize was there. Luna purred vithin my chest, satisfied by the strength of our bond.
pushed the car door open. The evening breeze of the Silvermoon territory swept in, clearing the thick, charged pheromones inside and steadying my eeling mind.
Alexander and the guard stood watch a short distance away, stoic and unmoving like statues of the Old Pact. Their gazes were fixed intently on nothing n particular, as if they hadn’t witnessed a single moment of the Alpha’s intensity.

Where is he? My voice had regained its usual coolness, though a faint, almost imperceptible rasp still clung to the end of my
Alexander stepped forward, his response respectful. “Miss, Leo is being held in the basement of the Golden Touch Pack–House. He hasn’t been dealt with yet.”
Grayson had only given orders to deal with Sean. Leo’s name hadn’t been mentioned in the Alpha’s command.
They wouldn’t dare make a move without explicit instructions from the high–ranking members.
Take me to him,” I said, my voice flat, my own wolf baring her teeth at the thought of the traitor.
