Five Years of Marriage to Mr. Bradford (by Koi Fish) novel Chapter 370

Chapter 370

Vance turned ashen. “I didn’t. Cathy and I never…”

He stopped mid-sentence as he remembered something. He had no right to say that anymore.

On a roll, Isabelle didn’t notice the shift in his expression. She kept going. “I don’t care whether you slept with her or not. That’s not my business. I only care about Lucas. This has nothing to do with sex.”

Lucas panicked about her reckless speech, especially since they were in the office. His hand shot out and clamped over her mouth.

“Let her speak.” Vance was unpleasant, but he wanted to hear what she had to say.

“Fine!” Isabelle slapped Lucas’s hand away. “Vance Bradford, you are a scumbag! The worst of its kind. You enjoyed Rebecca’s wholehearted love while flirting with Catherine under the guise of brotherhood. Go check out her posts. What kind of friends sleep in the same bed half-naked?”

“Honey, that was staged. I was there, too,” Lucas chimed in, only to earn himself a solid slap across the face.

Isabelle sneered. “You were there? You just admitted it yourself. Pathetic! I’ll deal with you when we get home.”

She turned back to Vance. “What kind of friends buy houses, bags, and luxury items for each other? Why don’t you buy some for Lucas, too? What kind of friends go on island vacations and share one room? Oh, Lucas has that treatment too, but put your hand on your conscience and tell me. Was it the same when you shared a room with Lucas as when you did it with Catherine?”

Lucas had to admit her tongue was sharp, but he had the same doubt.

“What?” Isabelle turned and scolded him. “He has no brain, and you? You think you’re any better? Your

head is full of shit.”

“That’s enough already. Let’s go home,” he pleaded.

Isabelle’s fierceness was well-known throughout the company. Everyone knew Lucas had a formidable

wife.

“Let me finish!” she insisted.

She had originally not wanted to say anything, but since she had started, she wouldn’t feel good if she

didn’t finish.

She glared at Vance. “Your mind is just filthy. Put your hand on your nonexistent conscience and ask yourself. When you were flirting with Catherine, didn’t your heart fly away? Didn’t it feel like you were back in your teenage years? A grown man suddenly rediscovering pure love. Didn’t life feel exciting again?”

She paused and added, “And then? You were emotionally cheating. Yes, emotional cheating is still

cheating. I don’t know if you actually did it, but whether it was emotional or physical, it’s cheating. Yet you still claimed you two were just friends. If you openly admitted it, I might still respect you as a man. Cheating, then pretending to be devoted? Pathetic and cheap!”

With that, she turned back to Lucas. “Aren’t you coming?” 2

“Oh, okay.” He gave Vance an apologetic look, then followed Isabelle out with his head hanging low.

Just as they stepped outside the office, Catherine and Aiden appeared.
