Five Years of Marriage to Mr. Bradford (by Koi Fish) novel Chapter 436

Chapter 436

Aiden’s heart jolted. He quickly looked at Catherine, whose face had gone ghastly pale.

“That idiot!” he cursed silently.

The recording continued playing.

“Try any tricks, and your daughter will have a very ugly end! Give me your phone. Turn it off. Don’t even think about recording anything.”

“Now listen carefully. I have a packet of medicine here. Put it in their food or drinking water. Make sure both Rebecca and Rossi ingest it. I’ll give you five million dollars for the job. In addition, I’ll arrange for you and your daughter to go abroad. I’ll fund her studies and keep her far away from your husband. He’ll never be able to find you.”

“What kind of medicine? What will happen if they take it?”

“They’ll either die or stay unconscious forever. If you can’t bear the guilt, you can die with them. I’ll take care of your daughter.”

“I’m just a housekeeper. I can’t do something like this. I’m scared.”

“Scared? Aren’t you scared when I go to your daughter’s school? Don’t play games with me, and transferring schools won’t help. No matter where she goes, I can find her. You don’t want anything to happen to her, do you? Of course, I won’t kill her. I’ll just find a few kids to bully her every day.”

Flustered, she decided to get out of there. But before leaving, she would make Nancy pay for betraying her.

She glanced at Aiden, who was sitting there stunned. That only strengthened her resolve. With his cold, selfish nature, once he recovered from the shock, he would be the first one to destroy her.

She crouched low, trying to hide among the crowd, and quietly backed toward the exit. Unfortunately, the security guards blocked the doors.

Several police officers appeared and walked straight toward her. In her desperation, she grabbed a guard’s sleeve, clutched her belly, and pleaded, “Please, let me go. I’m pregnant. My belly hurts so much!”
