Five Years of Marriage to Mr. Bradford (by Koi Fish) novel Chapter 572

Chapter 572

After finishing their performance at that house, Rebecca and Heather continued to the next one with the children.

Vance kept recording with his phone.

Heather whispered curiously, “Why do I get the feeling that Mr. Cookie is more familiar with you!”

“He’s my ex–husband,” Rebecca admitted frankly.

“Huh?” Heather’s eyes widened in shock. Then she looked torn. “I chatted with him quite a bit. What position am I sup take? Should I hate him?”

Rebecca was amused by her reaction. “Don’t worry. It’s all in the past. He doesn’t have anything to do with me anymore.”

“No way. I can’t talk to him anymore,” Heather declared, full of righteous indignation. “If someone as wonderful as you divorced him, he can’t be a good person.”

Rebecca shook her head. “Alright, it’s our turn to dance again!”

The children’s music and singing started up once more. In the cheerful melody, they were too busy moving their feet to remember old grudges. Those had already scattered with the wind.

That afternoon, Rebecca and Heather went to explore the Christmas market. The moment they stepped inside, they didn’t want to leave.

There was mulled wine, roasted apples, handmade pastries, local sauces, and snacks… Rebecca even found New York–style roas beef.

Everything imaginable was there. From one end of the market to the other, their hands were never empty. What they loved mos were the handmade crafts–hats, candles, jewelry, wooden toys, and wool products–all unique and impossible to find elsewhere.

Rebecca wanted to buy everything. In the end, she stopped in front of a porcelain jar. She had always loved cups, plates, and all kinds of pottery, and this jar really spoke to her.

But… She looked at the several large bags in her hands. There was no way she could carry something this big back.

She set her bags down and hugged the jar, reluctant to let go.

“Hold it, and I’ll take a picture for you,” Heather suggested. “It will be like you bought it ”

Rebecca was worried the seller might mind and asked first. The seller was delighted that she liked it and pappily agreed

Rebecca pressed her cheek against the jar for the picture, then bought two cups and two plakes instead she left with deep regist looking back several times

Life really was full of small regrets
