Five Years of Marriage to Mr. Bradford (by Koi Fish) novel Chapter 643

Chapter 643

It was destined to be a sleepless night.

The four were excited to see eachother and sat down to chat. Josette brought out snacks and fruit. The atmosphere was even livelier than during the holidays.

Rebecca had built a deep bond with Kaitlyn and Gabriel during her years abroad. Seeing them again made her incredibly happy, but she couldn’t stay up talking forever.

She had classes tomorrow, so Josette eventually shooed her off to bed.

The next morning, she woke up to the sound of conversation in the kitchen. Josette kept urging Kaitlyn to rest, but the latter insisted on staying.

These are memories from my childhood. Nostalgic! I haven’t had your pasta with meat sauce in years,Kaitlyn gushed.

Rebecca thought of the kitchen in Paris and chuckled. Despite having chefs, the two would still cook hometown dishes together

Kaitlyn spotted her. Becky, come eat. After breakfast, Gabe will drive you to school.

It’s fine. I can go by myself,Rebecca replied.

It was still early. She wanted him to sleep more after staying up so late.

He’s up anyway, watering the flowers outside,Kaitlyn explained.

Gabe watering flowers?Rebecca blinked.

Outside, Gabriel was holding the hose, his clothes soaked.

Gabe, are you watering the flowers or yourself? She burst into laughter, having never seen him so disheveled.

Even on his ranch, he had been composed. The natural warmth and familiarity in the way she looked at him didn’t escape Gabriel’s notice, but he didn’t mind.

He simply thought she was outgoing and friendly. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have emailed him out of the blue.

He had always been cautious because of the scheming in the Rossi family, but he trusted his mother, willing to get close to anyone she approved of.

Breakfast was pasta with meat sauce again, just as Kaitlyn wanted. Rebecca loved it too, and she knew Gabriel did as well. She still remembered the amazed look on his face the first time he tasted it.

While eating, she kept stealing glances at him. Sure enough, his expression was full of amazeinent.

Then he said the same line, So, this is what pasta with meat sauce is supposed to taste like. It’s completely different from what my mom makes!
