Chapter 655
Under the cedar tree, Darren pulled out two tickets. “Take a look. What are these?”
Rebecca’s eyes lit up. “Wow! Tickets to Mrs. Lemke’s performance?”
Darren nodded.
“How did you…” Rebecca was thrilled.
This was her respected dance teacher–the one who had discovered her talent at the dance academy, supported her after her injury, and stood by her during the cyberbullying scandal.
In the original timeline, Lauren had stopped performing and focused on teaching. Rebecca had missed the era of her shining on stage. These two tickets were God–sent.
Her smile sparkled in the summer sunlight. “How did you know I admire Mrs. Lemke?”
Darren tilted his head. “I didn’t. I just saw that she’s with the Arelmoor Dance Troupe. Isn’t that your dream school? So, I booked these.”
And they were the best seats. If he hadn’t booked early, they would have been impossible to get.
Rebecca’s eyes glowed. “So, that’s why you rushed out earlier?”
“Yeah!” Darren’s smile was as bright as summer’s day. “The delivery notification came through.”
Holding the tickets, Rebecca couldn’t contain herement. “It’s tonight. I…”
Darren had planned everything. “We can grab dinner nearby, then head over. There’s plenty of time.”
“Great! Let’s go!” Rebecca exclaimed, pulling out her phone. “Let me transfer the money for the tickets.”
