Flutty Males Chase Theor Boss on Surval Show
Chapter 392 Deal
Everything clicked into place.
A slow, knowing smile spread across Layla’s face. “So you’re here because our show arrived, and you panicked. You need to clean up this Starcore Ore deposit before we stumble onto it.”
Taylor gave a single, curt nod.
Layla tapped her chin thoughtfully. “You’re interstellar pirates, so obviously the Starcore Or mine isn’t going to you. And I need you to make sure this whole thing stays buried. Not a word to anyone.”
A flicker of scorn crossed Taylor’s features. “And you think we’d agree to that?”
“Why wouldn’t you? Do you honestly believe you’re walking out of here if you refuse?” Layla replied, her tone breezy as if discussing the weather.
Taylor’s expression shifted, calculation clear in his eyes.
Judging by the size of the interstellar fleet that had arrived, he still held some confidence in a fight.
Layla seemed to read his mind. Her smile widened as she gestured innocently toward the figure behind her. “Oh, I almost forgot to introduce the guest of honor. This is Prince Oliver. He’s already contacted the Galactic Guard. They should be… ah, right on time.”
No sooner had the words left her mouth than the deep thrum of engines filled the air. A Galactic Guard cruiser pierced the atmosphere, its shadow falling over them as it settled onto the scorched earth behind their group.
Taylor’s gaze hardened into something vicious. “We found it first.”
Layla feigned shock, a hand flying to her mouth. “Wait, let me get this straight. You, a self-professed pirate, are trying to appeal to finders-keepers with me?”
Upon hearing her words, Taylor nearly let out a scornful laugh.
The Layla here seems so different from the one on the livestreams.
With a playful blink, she delivered the ultimatum. “You have five minutes to decide. After that, the choice is made for you.”
The choice” was simple: keep the ore deposit a secret, and he might get a pass.
But his crew? They weren’t leaving Planet A13.
Not in their ships, at least.
Layla had no intention of wiping Taylor out completely. The goal was secrecy, not genocide.
And even if they captured Taylor, the interstellar pirates would just elect a new leader in no time. Losing him wouldn’t be a real blow to them.
Her eyes grew serious as she glanced at Liam. “Start the clock.”

Liam promptly began counting down the seconds, playing along seamlessly.
Taylor didn’t hesitate. “Let me and Mia leave. The Starcore Ore never happened. My word on it.”
“Deal.” Layla said brightly, stepping forward and extending her hand.
His jaw tight with resentment, Taylor shook it, the gesture brief and brittle.
Finished
Turning, Layla watched with satisfaction as military and Galactic Guard personnel efficiently secured the, area and evacuated the show’s crew. A tension she hadn’t fully acknowledged began to ease from her shoulders.
“And your people? You sure they’ll stay quiet?” she asked, glancing back at Taylor.
“They’ll cling to the hope that I’ll break them out. They’ll keep their mouths shut,” he stated, voice flat.
To prove his point, he activated a comm device. “Listen up. Anyone captured, do not-I repeat, do not- mention the ore. Any leak, and you’re on your own.”
He delivered the message with cold certainty before cutting the link.
Almost immediately, the remaining resistance from the scattered pirates seemed to falter.
Taking Mia’s hand, Taylor met Layla’s gaze. “We’re leaving now?”
“By all means,” Layla replied, waving them off with a gracious smile.
By any measure, this exchange had tilted heavily in her favor.
As Taylor and Mia disappeared, Layla turned her attention to the captured pirates, her focus settling on Roger.
She gave him a conspiratorial wink. “See? Your boss wasn’t too worried about the rest of you, was he?”
Roger responded with a derisive snort, though his eyes held no real hatred.
In his position, faced with a choice between Leonard and the rest, he knew he’d make the same cold calculation.
“What now?” Roger ground out, shifting against his restraints. “Going to play the merciful victor?”
