The Kingdoms of the Faries
“We can’t give up without even trying.”
Cassian supported her,
“I agree, if you know how to reach the fairy kingdom, let us know, and we’ll go.”
Dantriel and Ethan looked at each other,
“Alright then, we’ll take you to the land of the fairies
“Thank you.”
Ethan said,
“Don’t thank us yet, you’ll regret it once we’re there.
“Still, thank you. When can we leave?”
“You’ll have to wait a few days; we need to go to the elf kingdom to retrieve something that will allow us to enter the fairy kingdom.”
“What thing?”
“Time in the fairy kingdom flows differently; what seems like a day could actually be years. That’s why we need medallions to prevent time from affecting us, ensuring we return on time, otherwise, we might return when it’s too late.”
Cassian’s naming ceremony was in a week, which worked out well for him.
“That works for me.”
“Then we will leave immediately and be back in a few days.”
“Since you’re going to the realm of the elves, do you think you could bring reinforcements?”
“It’s not necessary; when the time comes, I’ll summon them, but I’ll let them know to stay alert for our call.”
Cassian knew he wouldn’t get anything more, so he thanked them and they said goodbye. He and Maya were heading back to the main palace when she said,
“I have to go to the city because I have some errands to run. I’ll see you late
“Let me accompany you.”
“Aren’t you busy?”
“Yes, but…”
“Then it’s not necessary, I can go alone. I’ll see you tonight.”
“I’ll have two guards go with you.”
