“Take care of her, and if anything strange happens, tell me.”

Abril left the room, vowing to protect her daughter from anything and anyone that might harm her.

“She’s sleeping.”

Alessandro held her by the waist and, with a seductive voice, said,

“Then we should take advantage of being alone to enjoy each other’s company.”

Abril was tempted for a moment, but then remembered why she had come and said,
