Sienna’s POV
I followed them to the front door. Liam opened it, holding Noah’s back so the child wouldn’t run out too fast. Before stepping outside, Liam turned slightly.
“Sienna, take care of yourself.”
I smiled gently. “Always.”
The door closed.
And the house felt a little quieter.


I wasn’t sad. Just aware. Our relationship was no longer as simple as before, but also not as fragile as I had once feared. We were learning to balance distance and closeness, responsibility and feelings.
