Chapter 522
After Franklin politely gireted them, he got into the car and left.
Watching the car gradually disappear from sight, Yves finally snapped out of it. He turned to Rez, both shocked and thrilled.
“Sn. Tranklin and Maggie are both cheating? Seriously? This is insane!*
Rex didn’t respond.
The hadn’t seen Franklin and Maggie have any private contact in a long time. He’d thought whatever was between them had already ended.
Clearly… he’d been wrong.
His expression darkened as he turned and headed for the car.
Yves quickly followed. Only now did he realize something else.
Rex.. didn’t look surprised.
In fact, it looked like Rex had known for a while.
Yves immediately reacted.
“Wait–hold on. You already knew about this, didn’t you?!”
Rex still didn’t say anything.
Yves got into the car after him.
“When did this even start? Something this explosive, and you never told me?!”
Rex’s face remained gloomy. Without answering, he stepped on the gas before Yves had even settled in.
Yves nearly jumped out of his skin.
But seeing Rex’s expression, he instantly understood.
Rex wasn’t just angry.
He was worried about Julia… and hurting for her.
Thinking that, Yves rubbed his nose.
A moment later, something else came to mind and he said,
“But think about it from another angle. If Franklin really breaks up with Miss Brown… doesn’t that mean you finally have a shot? Isn’t that a good thing for you?”
Rex tightened his grip on the steering wheel. His heart stirred for a moment.
Of course he’d thought about that.
But… would Julia and Franklin really break up?

Chapter 522
After a brief pause, something seemed to occur to Rex. He spoke quietly.
“They may not break up. And don’t spread this around.”
Yves shrugged.
“Fine. But I can at least tell Jimmy, right?”
You can, but Jimmy doesn’t care about this stuff.”
About ten minutes later, Rex’s car stopped in front of a lounge bar.
When they entered the private room, Jimmy was already there waiting.
The moment they walked in, Jimmy immediately sensed something was off.
“What happened?”
Yves cleared his throat.
“It’s about Miss Brown… We just saw Franklin acting pretty close with another woman. And that woman is-”
Rex coughed lightly.
Yves shut up instantly.
Fine. Message received.
Jimmy wasn’t very interested in Julia–related drama anyway. Seeing Rex’s expression, he didn’t press.
Even though Franklin and Maggie’s situation was absolutely explosive gossip, there were plenty of other juicy topics waiting for Yves to dig into.
He turned his attention back to Jimmy.
“Anyway, what about you? I heard your family ambushed you with a ‘surprise blind date dinner‘ the moment you got home. So? How was the girl?”
Jimmy shook his head.
“I told her clearly after dinner.”
Yves blinked.
“You didn’t like her?”
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
Jimmy paused for a moment before answering.
