Chapter 526
After hesitating for a moment, Julia finally told Franklin why she’d been trying to reach him.
Franklin said,
“I think I heard something about that project before. Is the bidding already happening this soon? Which companies are participating?”
Julia listed a portion of the companies competing for the bid.
Among them were major corporations like Jamison Group and Alison Group.
And of course-
Cole was on the list too.
Hearing that, Franklin said,
“With that many big companies involved, Brown Group winning is nearly impossible.”
Julia knew that already.
Not just her, Logan and everyone else understood the difficulty.
But if Franklin could at least help refine their proposal, smooth a few connections, and provide a bit of backing, their chances would immediately
improve.
Of course, that wasn’t something Julia could openly say.
Besides, the moment she mentioned this project, even without her stating it bluntly, Franklin naturally understood why she’d brought it up.
So she only said softly,
“That’s true… but my family really wants to win this project.”
“I see,” Franklin replied.
“I’ll be pretty busy these next couple of days. I’ll have someone take a look at your bid proposal later.”
Hearing that, Julia finally let out a small breath of relief.
“Okay. Thank you, Franklin.”
Franklin still had things to handle, so they didn’t talk much longer before hanging up.
When the Brown family heard Franklin had agreed to send someone to help, everyone finally relaxed.
Not long after, Franklin’s team contacted them. After reviewing their proposal, and with Logan’s approval, they made several revisions.
With adjustments to both the technical and financial sections, the proposal did look far more competitive than before.
But without a major corporation backing them, competing against companies like Cole was still unbelievably difficult.
Seeing that the people Franklin sent only helped with the proposal, and did not provide the “real” help they’d hoped for, Logan couldn’t help asking, “Mr. Wilson… only instructed you to do this?”
“Yes,” the man adjusted his glasses and smiled politely.

“Was there something in the proposal we still didn’t 87”
Of course not.
The proposal was fine now, but
That wasn’t something they could explain to an outsider.
Julia was present too. After Logan left, he glanced at her.
Julia understood exactly what he meant.
He wanted her to contact Franklin again, to find out what he was really thinking.
Even without Logan saying anything, Julia herself wanted to know.
So after a brief pause, she called Franklin again.
But this time…
no one answered.
Over the next two days, she tried calling twice more.
Even when the bidding officially began-
