Chapter 525
Chapter 525
Hearing that, Tracy frowned in worry.
“Then what are we supposed to do? Without Franklin’s help, there’s almost no way we can win this government project bid.”
Yes. That was exactly why Julia had gone to find Franklin-
she wanted his support so they could secure the bid they’d been targeting.
She had already called Franklin early that morning, but he never answered.
That was why she’d personally gone to Wilson Group again.
She just hadn’t expected…
to miss him again.
This matter was extremely important, and Logan was waiting anxiously for news.
He even went to Wilson Tech himself. When he saw Julia come back before one in the afternoon, he already knew the answer.
“You didn’t see Franklin?”
Julia lowered her gaze.
“No. Chad said he went out for a meeting.”
Logan frowned.
He’d known almost immediately when problems started appearing between Julia and Franklin.
Like Tracy and the others, he had originally thought it wasn’t a big deal.
But lately Julia could never reach Franklin, while Franklin and Maggie seemed to be getting closer and closer…
Thinking of that, as the father of both Julia and Maggie, Logan suddenly felt extremely conflicted.
He glanced at Julia–who looked noticeably thinner lately–and didn’t speak for a moment.
Seeing her family like this made Sophia furious. Her chest burned with anger as she gritted her teeth.
“Maggie already has Johnny, but she still has to mess with my brother–in–law and my sister? She’s doing it on purpose!”
No one else said anything.
If Franklin and Maggie had already divorced, maybe they could openly say or do something.
But Franklin and Maggie… still weren’t divorced.
Sophia turned to Logan.
“Uncle, maybe you should talk to Maggie. Tell her not to cross the line!”
If Franklin and Julia’s relationship continued to worsen, Logan would’ve gone to speak to Maggie even without Sophia suggesting it.
He nodded.

“In a few days, I’ll find time to talk to her.”
Then he turned to Julia.
“Try contacting Franklin again later. We
$till have two days. Don’t panic yet.”
He gently patted her shoulder reassuringly.
“And I still believe Franklin feels differently about you. I don’t think things will just end like this. So don’t stress too much.”
Julia nodded softly.
“I know. I will.”
Logan nodded again, squeezed Janice’s silent hand comfortingly, then finally left Wilson Tech to return to his company.
That afternoon, Julia called Franklin again.
This time, Franklin actually answered.
“Sorry. I’ve been busy earlier and didn’t notice your calls.”
Then he asked, calmly as ever,
“What’s wrong?”
Hearing his tone, Julia lowered her gaze and hesitated before replying softly,
