Just then, Johnny leaned over to talk to her and accidentally caught a glimpse the message Franklin had sent.

He froze in surprise. “Hold off on the divorce for now? What does he mean by that?”

Was Franklin having second thoughts about divorcing her?

“No.” Maggie said calmly, knowing exactly what he was thinking. “It’s for Isabella.”

“She knows you’re getting divorced?”

Maggie gave him a rough explanation.

Johnny fell silent for a while before asking, “What about you? What do you think?”

Honestly, he was surprised that Franklin was willing to postpone the divorce for the sake of the child.

From the looks of it, Franklin really did care about their daughter.
