Franklin had a flight to catch.

After the parent–teacher meeting ended, Franklin and Maggie prepared to leave.

Isabella waved happily. “Bye, Mom and Dad!”

Watching Isabella happily playing with her classmates, Maggie and Franklin dded before turning and leaving together.

They hadn’t walked far when Franklin’s phone rang.
