If she had voiced this mindset earlier, Chloe would have been seriously worried. But things were different now. With the full backing of the Langley Pack behind her, Chloe was all for Lillian going over to tear the Graves Pack apart.

“Move back in, and take your people with you,” Chloe said through gritted teeth.

That whole settled, arrogant way of life within the Graves Pack was in desperate need of a shake–up.

When George learned of Lillian’s decision to return to the Graves Pack, he personally selected several attendants from the Western Continent to accompany her–all of them capable fighters. Their main role would be to attend to Lillian’s daily needs. The Graves Pack had already been thrown off balance by her earlier moves; now, the real chaos was about to begin.

Over the next few days, Lillian focused on resting and rebuilding her strength. She ate and drank generously, following a nutrition plan designed by specialists George had arranged under Edmund’s instructions. Each meal was tailored to support her physical recovery, and her condition improved noticeably day by day.

On the morning of the auction–the third day–Finn was already waiting when Lillian came downstairs. Dressed in a suit beneath a black trench coat, he looked refined, though his sharp eyes behind gold–rimmed glasses betrayed a calculating mind.

His tone gave nothing away, but his meaning was clear: he wanted Lillian to break the bond sooner rather than later.

Lillian held back her emotions and glanced at him. When she didn’t respond, Finn looked over, his expression unreadable behind his glasses. “Or have you changed your mind about breaking it?”

“What do you mean?” Lillian asked.

“You don’t want to sever the bond with Julian anymore?”

“Because I need access to Graves Estate,” Lillian said plainly.

Finn paused. Access to the estate? So that was it.

“I want every single member of the Graves Pack to know no peace,” Lillian continued, her voice thick with bitterness. “Not even for a moment.”

“Why?” Finn asked quietly.

“Because they killed my mother.”

Given everything Finn had done for her lately–and how his attitude toward Julian had shifted -Lillian saw no reason to hide the truth from him. Still, she knew how close Finn and Edmund were. “Just… don’t tell my brother yet. Okay?”
