Chapter 23
This revelation made the group of socialites‘ eyes widen in disbelief.
“What! Is she out of her mind!”
After Abigail snapped back to reality, anger surged through her,
making her voice sharp and unrestrained.“She actually dares to tell us
to leave? Who’s really the one who should go? A lowly bitch daring to
scold her betters?”
“Bianca, why are you being so polite to her?” Evelyn asked, frowning
in confusion. “She’s so arrogant–you should have your mom kick her
out!”
Bianca pressed her lips together, struggling for the right words.
“Evelyn, Abigail, don’t be angry. She comes from that kind of
background, so her manners are… a bit rough.”
She didn’t finish, but everyone understood. “What’s the saying? Bad places breed bad people.”
“Alright, alright, don’t stoop to her level. She’s not from our world,
anyway.”

Chapter 23
Matthew proposed a settlement: if Isabella didn’t complain, he would
find an excuse to leave the Taylor family immediately.
The Isabella of that time was too embarrassed to speak up; she still
wanted to maintain a good relationship with the Taylor family. She
didn’t want this to get out and make everyone look at her differently.
She couldn’t bear the thought of her brothers suspecting that she had
actually seduced the teacher.
Her sense of shame was overwhelming–she actually accepted the
settlement, trapping herself in the process…
Later, whenever Isabella thought about it, she regretted not exposing
Matthew’s misconduct and making him face the condemnation he
truly deserved.
Thinking of this, Isabella immediately quickened her pace as she
entered. Could the tutor Olivia was interviewing now be…?
As she entered the living room, that familiar face came into view
once again–just as she had expected.
It really was him! From across the room, Isabella watched Matthew
sitting on the sofa, talking with Olivia, disgust flashing in her eyes.
Just then, Olivia spotted her in the doorway and immediately waved

her over.
“Isabella, perfect timing. Come here.” Isabella obeyed and walked
over.
A wealthy lady sitting on the sofa couldn’t help glancing at Isabella a
few more times, frowning at her outfit.
Olivia noticed immediately, her fingers clenching, and said to the
lady, “This is the maid’s child I mentioned to you.” The lady nodded in
understanding.
No wonder she’s dressed so poorly.
Olivia turned to Isabella. “I found you a tutor. I’ve already
interviewed him, and he’s qualified in every way.” “Starting tomorrow,
he’ll come every evening from seven to eleven to give you lessons-
four hours each night. He’ll be responsible for all your subjects.”
Then she looked at Matthew. “Mr. Moore, I’ll be counting on you to
take care of Isabella.”
Matthew smiled at Isabella. “Hello, Isabella.”
Isabella looked him in the eye. Someone like you… do you even
deserve to be called a teacher?”

Matthew froze, staring at Isabella, words failing him for a long
moment.
Olivia had never expected Isabella to say something like that. Her
face darkened instantly with anger. “Isabella! He’s the teacher I hired
for you!”
“Sorry, Ms. Smith.” Isabella shrugged, her expression indifferent. “I
don’t think he’s good enough. Get me a new teacher.”
“You…” Olivia’s anger choked her, making it hard to breathe. What
nerve she had.
Olivia pressed a hand to her chest, lingering for a moment before
regaining her composure. “You don’t think he’s good enough? Do you
realize that Mr. Moore used to be an outstanding teacher at Stellar
High School? He’s produced countless exceptional students.” “So
many people want to hire him for tutoring… and yet they can’t?”
I pulled so many strings to get Mr. Moore here for you, and you have
the nerve to be picky.”
Olivia was absolutely furious. Useless trash.
Stupid, and yet not humble enough to learn–how dare she be so
arrogant!

“So what if he’s an outstanding teacher? What does that have to do
with me?” Isabella glanced at Matthew, her voice flat. “Learn to be a
decent human being first.”
With that, Isabella turned and headed upstairs.
