Chapter 24
Olivia signed a contract directly with Matthew, temporarily arranging
tutoring sessions for one month.
The tutoring fee was calculated hourly at eight thousand dollars per
hour.
“Why are you being so nice to her?” The wealthy lady watched Olivia sign the employment contract and couldn’t help frowning. “Olivia, what are you thinking? She’s just a nanny’s kid, not worth all this
effort.”
“I just want to give her the same treatment as my own child,” Olivia said. “Her parents are gone, she’s all alone and pitiful. I promised to adopt her, so I should do my best to raise her.”
Isabella was her own flesh and blood–claiming she didn’t care about
her at all would be untrue.
“You’re really kind. I think your Bianca inherited that from you-
considerate, gentle, and kind.”
The wealthy lady glanced in the direction Isabella had left earlier, paused, and said, “But that Isabella… why is she so rude? She speaks

now?”
Olivia nodded. “Alright.”
After Matthew’s figure disappeared from view, the wealthy lady said,
“Speaking of tutors, I heard that Joseph’s contract with the Anderson
Family seems to be ending.”
The Anderson Family–one of the four major wealthy families in
Emerald City.
Olivia had naturally heard of them.
And the Joseph the wealthy lady mentioned was Joseph Miller, the
top–tier private tutor that all the wealthy families lined up to hire but
couldn’t get.
Joseph had already helped many students get into prestigious
universities. His name was well–known, and he himself had become
something of a legendary figure.
The first student Joseph tutored who got into a prestigious university
five years ago was also from Stellar High School. That student’s
grades in high school weren’t bad–consistently ranking in the top
ten of their grade–but they couldn’t break through their bottleneck.
The student’s parents happened to contact Joseph for private

tutoring, and unexpectedly, the student got directly into a prestigious
university.
Later, everyone learned that before becoming a private tutor, Joseph
had been part of the exam question committee, and was even a core
member.
Afterward, Joseph became a tutor sought after by numerous wealthy
families, who vied fiercely to secure his services.
But Joseph had standards for taking on students. He generally only
tutored those with excellent grades who already had the ability to get
into prestigious universities–the top students.
The wealthy lady looked at Olivia. “Joseph has an opening now. Do
you want to try getting him to teach your Bianca?”
Olivia frowned. “Someone that even the major families have trouble
hiring–I’m afraid the Taylor Family might not…”
“Olivia, think about it this way–Joseph has standards for taking
students. Those kids from the major families aren’t as excellent as
your Bianca. Your Bianca’s grades are so good, Joseph will definitely
notice her right away.”
Olivia took a sip of coffee and thought for a moment. “That’s true.”

Bianca scored over 1400 on every SAT practice test and always ranked
in the top ten at school. Maybe Joseph would choose her right away.
If Bianca’s SAT score this year could exceed 1500…
Olivia immediately called over the butler Yves. “Find out Joseph’s
contact information, quickly.”
“It’s getting late too.” The wealthy lady put down her coffee cup and
stood up. “Olivia, I’ll be going now. Keep in touch when you’re free.”
Olivia quickly got up to see her out.
Hospital security room.
“Dr. Taylor. Ian, the security guard on duty, quickly stood up when he
saw him come in. “Aiden already told us that you’d be coming to
check the surveillance footage after work.”
‘Yes, there are some things I want to confirm.”
Tobias sat down at the computer and went directly into the records
from the day Bianca fell on the hospital stairs.

After searching for a while, he locked onto the surveillance camera at
the second–floor west stairwell corner.
Ian stood behind him and casually mentioned, “The hospital director
also came to check the surveillance today.”
“The director?” Tobias frowned. “What did he come for?”
“Don’t know.” Ian shook his head. “But someone important came with
the director.”
“Someone important?”
Ian leaned over and whispered in Tobias’s ear, “The chairman of the
Brown Group, William Brown.”
This name was already legendary in Emerald City.
Tobias’s pupils contracted slightly. “William? How could he…”
“I heard the Brown Family’s daughter was almost kidnapped, but
someone saved her. She’s staying in our hospital now!”
Ever since the Brown Family’s daughter was admitted, the Brown Family had stationed plainclothes bodyguards in every corner of the hospital, and the security captain had repeatedly emphasized

strengthening security measures.
In short, the whole hospital’s atmosphere was different today.
“Almost kidnapped…” Hearing this, Tobias couldn’t help showing
shock in his eyes. “I heard the Brown Family only has this one
daughter. The person who saved her–the Brown Family will surely
reward them generously.”
“Right?” Ian said. “Wonder who the person is that saved the Brown
Family’s daughter.”
That would be incredibly lucky.
Though, being able to rescue someone from kidnappers meant that
person probably wasn’t ordinary either.
Before Tobias could finish speaking, he clicked on the surveillance
